Good afternoon, HSN Community members. We’re currently aware of the issues some of you are experiencing with the new HSN Arcade layout and we are working diligently to get these corrected. We greatly appreciate your patience while we work through this. Thanks so much!

7/16/15 Updates (unless otherwise noted):

Hi Gamers!

We first want to say how much we appreciate your patience this past week! As you can imagine, last week’s Arcade updates didn’t go quite as smoothly as we’d hoped and our teams have been working to fix issues and tweak features based on your feedback.

We wanted to update you on some of the things we’ve corrected and are working on.

Arcade Menu Bar

– The black menu bar at the top is no longer “sticky.” Now, when you’re in theater mode and increase the browser zoom, the black bar will not increase with everything else.
– The “Community” link on the menu bar now goes directly to the Arcade forum.
– We changed the text color of the current and lifetime tickets from pink to white.
– The “Hello, Nickname” link now goes to your profile Favorite Games tab instead of your Rewards History tab.

Game Play

– Some players were being directed to the Rewards Store, Winners or Community page during game play. That won’t happen any longer.
– Fixed the rotation issue that prevented tablet users from starting in portrait mode. This issue only impacted users accessing the HSN.com desktop version on their tablets – not users playing on the HSN Tablet app.

Spin2Win

– Fixed the issue with the game not loading.
– Fixed the issue with the game not awarding tickets.
– Fixed the issue where the game would show the same matches for multiple spins.
– The Spin2Win rules have been updated to reflect the correct dates and amounts.

– Fixed the issue with some customers’ spins not starting at 10 on a new day.
– We fixed an issue some players were having logging in to play Spin2Win on our apps.

Mahjongg

– Fixed the issue with the game not loading on iOS devices.
– Fixed the issue with the game not awarding points.

Flip Out

– Fixed the issue that prevented some players from advancing past level 1.

Tri Peaks Solitaire

– Updated the game with new scoring.
– The game is now available on mobile devices, however, it is no longer available on Internet Explorer 8 or 9.

Rewards Store

– Fixed the issue with the incorrect messaging that a sweepstakes has ended when there is still time to enter.
– The alternate entry option has been added back to the sweepstakes rules.

Games Pages

– In Progress: The TS Jigsaw Puzzle image incorrectly shows “fastest to solve the puzzle.” Update 8/18/15: We are hoping to have this corrected within the next couple of weeks.

– In Progress: Watching HSN live and want to buy? The “Shop This Item” link will open in a new tab so that your game play is not interrupted. Update 8/18/15: We are hoping to have this corrected in early September.

– Added the game carousel back to the in-game and game over pages. This allows you to view games, in alphabetical order, without going back to the main Games page. Update 8/18/15: We have received suggestions to make this a continuous loop. Although we are unable to make that change at this time, we will explore other options to improve your experience using this feature.

SPIN 2 WIN….Is a rip off now days!!!!!!!!…..I just played it, and NOT ONCE DID I SEE A GIFT CARD AMOUNT IN THE SELECTION SPINNING, AND I LET MY SPINS GO FOR APPROX. 1 MIN, BEFORE I HIT STOP!!!!!!!!!

HSN has gotton millions of players on line, were playing for real, so allow us the REAL opportunity of earning some of the cash offers you say we can win!!!

I played Mahjongg a few hours ago on my iPhone and I did NOT get any points for the games I played. I was logged in alright and could even check on my order status, so I know that I was "connected". This is frustrating, to say the least. Thankfully I did not score real high, otherwise, I would be really &*(&%^*^"@$.

Good bye HSN. Been with you since 009. No more! Would play games and also shop. What morons you hired! You were fun, but now just too much trouble, to what was once a very pleasant experience. Good by.

what a mess all these pops ups and banners only have 1/2 because of them and suddenly my screen will zoom out and zoom in by itself. Now the stupid underline is stuck can’t get it off. I was getting double points for marjohhn and tri peaks solitare but now zero points and tickets again. Cleared cache, history, data, etc. Running chrome. I cant even see what Im typing because the darn banner blocks it.

I was pkaying Majohnn and tri peaks solitare getting points and double tickets the first few times then its all zero points and tickets. Still getting zero points and tickets for ghe todays jigsaw puzzle. Cleared cache, cookies, history, etc. Restarted, usinv chrome. Also, all these pop ups and banners take up 1/2 my screen. Slow response too, have to click 3 or for times to get the community or any of the links to work. Right now as I type cant see if its acurate because than darn danner blockes my entry. Not fun to p,ay and not fun to shop even the product videos dont work just a black box. Good grief HSN!

what a bunch of trite pandering!! How dare you treat us this way? Platitudes are not solutions…they are insults. And you have insulted everyone here.

Way to go! Alienate the whole gang at once. This is a helluva way to run a railroad, as my granny used to say!!

I really do hate to add to all the complaints…but all the double tickets in the world don’t mean a thing if the games freeze up and you can’t finish playing them. Or have to start them over and over again. And yes, I have cleaned and polished my cache, cookies and restarted and come in thru the URL and all that. I am on Chrome and everything is up to date.

Maybe there is just too much going on with all the banners, ads, and all that? There is maybe too much of a good thing?

The running ads at the top of the forums, then the stuff on the left side saying all the same things…why?

Now the countdown clock…

There comes a point that too much IS too much.

Where does it stop?

Today, 7/3, the Spin to Win game is not even loading into the palm tree area….this is an ongoing problem that eliminates a group of HSN customers from partaking in this chance to win some prizes….either the problems are fixed for good or you take the game down permanently. Bad public relations!

A couple of new problems to deal with. Metro Match – tiles barely turning losing large amounts of time. Playing a game while the screen rools is not cute. Loses the game. Side bar trying to locate games sits there and falls asleep. Otherwise it keeps rolling. Pegland – when you get to level 3or4 it keepls counting the levels and finally stops. Biggest issue is the rolling screen. Please do something about this and the blue bar at the bottom. Who care if it is five o’clock anywhere?

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!! Now all the features that I missed have been put back. I love playing in the HSN arcade!
