Whoa I got 5,280,000 tickets in one game of Space Hunt!!!

I got a flying saucer and suddenly high pitched bells kept ringing, I went up to a multiplier of 88! I had over 20k points already and with the triple tickets!! I was WOOT, I hit the super secret jackpot!!! (I knew it was wrong).

Then the whole thing crashed and I lost everything. Since the last time I tried matching a planet while a star was still working and the whole thing went kablooey, I am careful to wait until each action comes to a complete stop before making another move, but I know that making simultaneous moves is how you get points.

Something is very wrong with the games.

Is there any type of strategy to this game besides matching 3 or more? I’ve had a multiplier of 88 three times already and absolutely nothing happened after the bells stopped. Am I just to watch and listen to the bells or should I be clicking "something" :).

I’ve had that happen on Space Hunt, Score, Search Party and one other I can’t remember which…it’s cool to watch it happen…and sometimes the score do stick. That’s how some of those horribly high outrageous scores are on the game LB’s…but it’s a hoot to watch happen. They are just glitches in the games that show up once in a while…but they are something to see! Search Party was the last one that happened to me.

Holy, wow!!! Boy, I’ll bet that was an eye-popper! LOL. Space Hunt has been a little wonky since day one. It is a game I enjoy, though. Seems like those UFOs are tougher to get than they used to be, but they can certainly help your score – especially when you save them until your multiplier is around 10 or more. Too bad it crashed on you, but fun while it lasted, I bet! *grin*
