WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CARD/GAME BOARD GAME TO PLAY?
what is your favorite card game? when i was little, i used to love to play "go-fish" with my grandfather and little friends. as for "board games", my choice would be "monopoly". i used to play this all the time when i was young. what’s funny about monopoly is that the game grew with me. it was one of the only games that i could play when i was 14 as well as when i was 10, for example. love it!!! NOW, WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITES?!? love you!!! remember, it’s fun here!! xoxo.

Josephinea…my grandparents taught me to play pinochle when I was a kid…it was the card game to play in my family. I always love a good game of gin rummy too. And for a board game, Scrabble. Grew up with that one. Still enjoy it. Good question!

SCRABBLE—–I am KING—-LOL—–I love to have a few friends get all set and comfy and even allow them to win—THEN I SLAP A WORD THAT OLD WEBSTER DOSENT EVEN KNOW DOWN and WE SET AND DEBATE—–I use Zubberstrap ALOT—–I always tell the group it it that thing that is used to hold the right side of the engine up under the hood of the car—-Now who would question that.
ALWAYS PLAY WITH THOSE WHO MUST WIN—–They detest to be embaressed- :smileywink:

Hi Josephinea,
I like to play Monopoly! We used to gather all the family and have game night when the kids were
young. Good times:heart:

josey… My husband and I love to play the card game ‘Canasta’. Also, whenever one of us is stuck in bed with one ailment or another, we play ‘Sorry’… a very simple board game that goes fast, with one’s luck in the draw, not strategy. When either of us is under-the-weather, the last thing we want to do is ‘think’! *LOL*

We love to get out the Ouija board with friends sometimes on those long dark winter nights with the wind howling and the house creaking. It’s scary and a little eerie, but it’s only a game. OR IS IT? The gang loves it. DON’T PLAY IT ON OCTOBER 30TH. Some weird things happened that were almost supernatural.
Here’s a card game I’ll bet you never heard of. Hoss and Pfeiffer played almost like pinochle. Watch out for cheating! God in heaven or telling your partner to bid high.

I get together every week with a group of old friends (both in age and time I’ve known them) and play a card/board game called Jokers & Pegs. I think it was started in RV parks. It’s similar in concept to Sorry or Parcheezi. We divide into 2 teams to play. If we don’t have an even number, we use Harvey (the 6′ invisible rabbit from the movie) as the extra person and the only man in the group plays 2 hands.

Risk, and the winner even gets a trophy I bought at the dollar store.

Scrabble amd cards Crazy Eights-lol.

Kings in the Corner. Me, my sister and our cousins played it for hours in the back seat of the car on cross country road trips as kids. Oh, and Bingo. It’s fun and an almost unlimited number of people can play. When our family plays we do a dollar a card buy in and then whoever gets Bingo wins the pot. The little kids love it. This brings back some happy memories just thinking about both of these.

Sequence and Train. We have a New Year’s Day tradition with friends who come to our home and we eat good food and play great games. The Gals against the Guys. The Gals won this year 🙂

Josephinea…I love any card game. I’ve played everything from Go Fish at home with my cousins to Texas Hold’Em in Vegas. I also like monopoly, scrabble, and there’s a dice game we called "SHIP, CAPTAIN. CREW". I wish I could remember the rules to that game. We had Mexican friends that taught us and when we went to their house, we knew we were in for a night of rolling the dice. It was so much fun!!
