is there any way to start over at level 1 on patchworks game?
I was just wondering if there was any way to start over at level 1 on patchworks game? I now have the hang of it and would like to start from the beginning but when I open it it takes me to the next level.

yes — you have to create a new player name each time you want to start over at level 1 – click on the "Welcome" on the first screen. (you can delete your old player name there if you want to)
or…. keep playing. The puzzles recycle and start over after level 109. puzzle 110 is the same as 1, 111 = 2, etc.
or … I think you can set your browser to not allow sites to use local storage, which is where the game saves your game information — it’s not in cookies or cache so clearing that won’t work — but doing this could affect other things you may not want to mess with

I used a different computer while traveling, and started with level 1 again. So I guess it has to do with cookies and whatnots. Try using a different browser or perhaps an incognito window.
I really would not mess with local storage.

If you clear cache & cookies, it will automatically start at the first level. The other thing you can do is create a new player name as boodlemum explains in her post just below massha’s.

I will get the same next level game in Patchworkz whether I clear cache and cookies or not, whether I use chrome or firefox, and even whether I am signed in to HSN or not.
For me, clearing cookies and cache makes no difference. The information is stored in adobe flash player local storage. Clearing cookies and cache does not clear local storage. The only way I know of to delete it is from the Settings Manager on the adobe site.
I thought when I first got my travelling computer, I also got the same game, but I just tried it again and that is not the case. It’s not cookies or cache. it’s adobe flash local storage.
The easiest way to start over at level 1 is to create a new player from the Welcome screen.
The most expensive way is to buy a new computer. :smileyhappy:

Something must erase that Adobe flash local storage then, because it seems like everytime I go to play that game (which isn’t often) I have to start over again. I just assumed it was because I had cleared cache and cookies in the long time between games.
