Ecg1, My sister had the same happen and it was because she used dryers sheet prior to using Nellie’s. A dryer sheet has wax which gets into your clothes. It took 3 washings to get the dryer sheet residue out of her clothes. 

  So sorry that happened to your clothes.  I haven’t had anything like that happen.
