Another game of the week with a score that’s too high

I’m sure Shannon does not actually play the games enough to earn all those points.

I agree with everyone who thinks the scores are very high. They are hard to beat unless you are an exceptional player. Those of us that play to have fun and are not trying to beat someones score that is high, find the joy taking out of the friday night fun. At least with Sean his scores were not  high enough that  we couldnot even try to beat. Don’t enjoy anymore,

Sean gave us scores that were challenging yet I normally could get all 20 wins in and it made me feel good.  I thought that was the whole purpose of The Game of the Week – to have fun!

When Sean was here, it was fun.  He would pop in and post to us, congratulate us, encourage us to beat him.  

Once Shannon became the “host”, I haven’t heard a word from her.  I think her only connection to The Game of the Week is to have a face on the banner.  

Her scores are ridiculous.  The good Arcadians I am sure can beat her score but for the majority of us that just enjoy playing games – these scores are crazy.  I’d love to know if she really played these games at all or if they are just put some random number up there.

The complaints have been many and it doesn’t appear that they are fazing HSN at all.  I guess they don’t care that so many of us don’t find The Game of the Week fun anymore.

I think it is a real shame that so many of us have resorted to Alternate Tickets week after week.  By the comments, Sodoku is hated by many, but they continue to rotate it with the other Mobile games.

I guess I understand in a way they rely only on their mobile games so that everyone can participate, but can’t they make some of their other games Mobile too?  However, even if they do make more games Mobile, are they going to put ridiculous scores up for them too?

The Game of the Week IS NOT FUN ANYMORE!

  I agree with you ?.  This game is not a fav of mine so I won’t be playing it much.  A slight chance I could get a few games to meet or beat hers but doubtful.

  The thing about Shannon vs Sean, is that Sean was a full time game host OR seemed to be.   But when he left (and with HSNs sales going down), I don’t think they want to pay a full time host again.

  So Shannon played the games 1 time, probably on her lunch hour or before or after work, I’m sure most of us have had to work that way before LOL.

  Could bring in one of Shannons kids (assuming she has kids), or maybe one of the other hosts kids and have them play each week, just to get some different scores in.  Or even one of their spouses!!!

Maybe if we keep this thread up near the top we will get a response. 

I agree with those who say “more variety” and scores not so high. My computer does not move fast enough for me to get anywhere near some of Shannon’s  scores. While that is not her fault, it really does take all the fun out of it.

I have quit playing many of the games of the week. I used to look forward to the double tickets; now not so much.

They should take an “average”score, something that allows more people a chance and they feel encouraged to play, not beaten down.

Anyone know how many games can be played on tablets?  I know Sean had more games.  We really need some variety.

? ? ? ? hi all, i agree, these games are just lame:cattongue: i wish we had something that is fun and challenging.  i just can’t do the blasting, popping, smashing, jumping, arcade.  why can’t we have more word games?  i am great at spellbound, and it’s really a brain work-out. even solitaire is great. anyway…i am just saying….:heart:

I agree, these scores are her all time highs.  Shannon has NEVER posted in the community and I’m quite sure one of the mods creates the thread every week.   As I’ve said before, playing only the mobile games is very boring!  There are 46 games in the arcade (not counting the panda games) to choose from!   I doubt many people are even wasting time trying to beat some of Shannon’so scores and are just using alternate entries. 

?  I agree!  It’s getting boring trying to beat her.  Sean gave us a better chance to win – I won’t play this game or Space Hunt or SUDOKU anymore.  It’s too frustrating.  Miss you Sean!:smileysad::heart:
