Sporto shoes and boots
I love Sporto shoes and boots and have over 25 pair from previous years. But I noticed on todays shows it states the following on the Detailing: " Avoid wearing your suede leather item in rain or in very wet conditions. If your suede product gets wet, simply blot it dry with a clean towel of similar color. Any bright- or deep-colored suede item could transfer its color to other items" this is followed with them saying: We treat the material prior to cutting the item, you can wear them in snow and rain. Which is it? can you can wear in the rain and snow or you cannot?

Hi, jmc!! It’s been awhile since we’ve seen you. Yes, they are still having game night. If you look over some of our recent posts, you’ll see that they have a cowboy theme because tonight we are going to a Dude Ranch!
I think that you meant that in the Rewards Store that you didn’t see that you could use your tickets for a chance to be on the show ‘live’. I’ve noticed that that part has been kind of slipshod. One week they didn’t add that to the Rewards store until a few days before the drawing. It wasn’t there when the other items appeared. So I would check out the Rewards store every day. This past week’s drawing didn’t end on Thursday as usual. It doesn’t end until Mon. so they still might add that.
Also, based on what Trekky and several others wrote on a thread, it appears that the names are drawn for future weeks and that having your name drawn doesn’t guarantee that you’ll be on. It’s all kind of confusing.
Anyway, hope you can stop by to tonight to play the Trivia and have fun with us.

It could be that there’s a difference between water-resistant and regular suede. I’ve been wearing Sportos for years and never had a problem with their suede being damaged or transferring color to anything. However, I don’t buy a boot unless it’s at least water resistant because of the harsh Northeastern winters up here. My feet are never cold or wet in their boots, which means a lot to me. Last winter, we had the most snow ever, with snow drifts eight feet high for months. I couldn’t even see the people next door walking into their house until late March because the snow drifts were so high! My Sportos protected my feet all winter through endless hours of shoveling and trekking through the snow and slush. I buy them at HSN because other stores don’t sell the wides.

Thank you for letting me know the difference. I will now review what I have ordered and make sure it is water- resistant. I appreciate your help..

I always re-treat my shoes and jackets with "scotchguard" type spray every season. Last year I purchased suede Sporto boots that were water resistant when bought. I lived in them last winter in rain and snow in Virginia! I also got a Sporto water resistant hooded cape last year that I love! I hope Sporto brings in more items this year. So far not much I like. Where are the higher boots and jackets, capes? Winter is coming!

I purchased a pair of winter mules from Sporto last year.
Ha! and LOL! The sole looks horrible from the wear from 1 season!
I doubt I will be able to brag about the quality of Sporto shoes.
Ooh Yes. I forgot to mention we had a light winter. :womanfrustrated:
