Shoes Shoes shoes!

This doesnt really have to do with shoes But since were talking about Kiss, I thought I would share this: when Kiss first came out I saw their debut show in Madison Wi! well between then and now Ive had two children a boy and a girl Well Ive taught my son music of my day! so when he was I think 14 or 15 II got tickets to the Phsyco Circus tour! It was 25yrs to the day! and he saw the same show I had seen 25yrs before that! I couldnt believe it! and both times it was the original Kiss! Now they have a guitar player who bought the rights to Ace,s make up And he is impersonating Ace! Boo! Ace,s solo stuff is really good! Hi steve-651-WOW for myself-what a question you asked! lol Your wife has 20 pairs–Hubby says you’re the lucky one…ha ha ha  I wear sz.5-rarely find (on HSN), I can wear 5.5-lil easier to find (on HSN). I’m a perfect kid’s 3-3.5! Here goes: I own, today OVER 200 prs. of shoes! I have shoes from 4 fig’s – $1. flip-flops to designer heels to cowboy boots! I’m a ‘career vocalist’ AND I’m 4’8- and use THESE as excuses/justifications! -AS IF! LOL  If it fits and I like ’em, I own ’em! AND I WEAR ‘EM! ALL DEPENDS ON OUTFIT! I LOVE to match my shoes w/outfit color/style to venue/use! I’m pretty good NOT TO REPEAT color/design/heel height etc…tho’ at times do! About twice yr, I clean out. Keep in mind, I have small feet/hard to find/fit; SO when fits and/or ESPEC when price is RIGHT-I BUY! Have some from when I was in middle school-clogs and wedges- in particular-AND THEY’RE ‘IN-STYLE’ NOW! AND ladies do ask ‘WHERE DID U GET?’ and I tell them I had since ‘middle school’; ala ‘KISS’ BAND DAYS! IT’S FUNNY b/c about 2 months ago-A MAN ACTUALLY OFFERED ME $200. FOR A PAIR OF ‘dark blue to medium blue to baby blue ‘stacked’ sponge-y w/two cut outs in heel wedges from 1979-AND I SAID NO! WITH A GR8FUL SMILE! Do I wear them all?-of course not-BUT IF IN GOOD SHAPE-I KEEP! You just never know! I’m the exception, I know! THIS IS MY ‘VICE’… as I don’t drink/drug/no children…I collect shoes AND jewelry! Oh well, to each her ehhem, uh, their own…aren’t you glad you asked, lol…=)      Oh, and YES…I STILL BUY if fits! I know, MY BAD…:catembarrassed:

I’d recently recieved the pair of Italian Shoe Makers “Wisteria” Wedge Item #398-043. Several of the reviews said they ran a bit narrow. Since my feet are narrow, I felt safe in ordering them. I ordered them in RED. The shade of red was a true blue-red and gorgeous. It was evident that since this sandal fit so well, that ladies that may even have average size foot would may have an issue with them being too narrow. Although, this designer did offer “wide widths, I have no idea how this would have fit. The embellishment across the top of the sandal, indeed, ‘kicks it up a notch”. They definitely have a high end look. I’ve found them very comfortable and the heel height is perfect. 

I found there was no need for a ‘break in’ time, as they were comfortable right out of the box.

Betsey’s shoes are HOT. But exceptionally uncomfortable. While shopping for her shoes I talked to another shopper. She was buying 2 pairs while I didnt even get one. I remarked "You are a hero if you can wear these for any length of time!" She replied "They are not for me. I run photostudio and they are for models to wear" "AHA!" was my responce…:smileywink: I was a model and I know all about shoes models wear…

Betsey has expanded her business in many directions (jewelry, clothes, shoes, etc.) and I believe she is a breast cancer survivor. She is very passionate about this charity and I admire her for that.

HI LADY4Peace  and mommagoodness how u doing I hope you are having a great  evening . Nice to see  here.

I feel if you have a nice pair of shoes and a nice bag/purse,you can have a cheaper outfit on,however the shoes and the purse brings of the value of the entire outfit.  It’s been great to read that most of the Community do donate to different agencies to help families that are in need.  That’s commendable in itself:smileyhappy:.  When I give it bring a smile on my face as well as the recipients. Steve-651 this was a great topic to address.

How many of you have made purchases from Betsey Johnson’s line? I love the items she presents. I’ve gotten several handbags, and a few pair of shoes. Her line seems well constructed, and verry pretty. I’ve never tried her cologne. If you have, let me know what you think. These are last shoes I’d gotten.

Steve, My husband complains about my shoes, but I think he realizes it’s a losing battle. I have my favorites which I wear on a regular basis, but I also have specific pairs for specific outfits.  Every year, I go through my shoes and donate to an organization who pick up barely worn shoes for women going out into the workforce for the first time. I feel good about helping someone who is trying to make a better life for themselves, and I get a tax write off. A lady can never own too many shoes! I am going to tell you what I tell my husband – you only need to worry about shoes if they are red bottom/red sole, LOL. 

To answer your question, 73 including boots.
