How many shoes do you pack for an overnight stay?

It would depend upon destination. However, whenever I need to travel for an overnight stay or two, I usually don’t vary on number of pairs of shoes. The style of shoes definitely depend upon the location and purpose of the trip. I always have slippers (usually blinged out pair) to use while gonig for ice etc in the hotel. Always a pair of Vince Camuto boots (black leather with gold tone trim), althletic shoes (Tony Little), usually 3 pr of heels…style of heels depend on purpose of trip. Lots of snow up here. If I had to be somewhere during snowy weather, I always have a pair of dress boots and a casual pair. (The red heels I have on in my avatar, I have also in black, navy and cobalt blue). :heart::womanhappy:

The water facet that holds the water hose in the yard broke. The water was shut off because of this.

I announced, "That is it! We are going to a hotel!"  The dog ran so fast. He made my head spin. He ran to the door with his bone and made his Scooby stop!

I grabbed everything I could in a hurry! I also packed three pairs of shoes for this overnight stay. I questioned myself if three pairs of shoes is enough!

I packed 1 pair of  Foot Petal slippers, 1 pair of Skechers tennis shoes, and 1 pair of Yellow Box flip flops. Then the sermon started………………………  :womanmad:

How many pairs of shoes do you need for 1 overnight stay?

You do know the hotel is 20 minutes away?

We are coming back home tomorrow morning to meet the plumber. Did you forget that? 

Slippers to walk around on strange floors.   Check

Tennis Shoes to go to hotel gym to work out.    Check

Flip Flops to go out and get dinner.  Check

How is that excess packing?   ARG!

For me I would take four! I know it sounds like a lot but I need a sneaker and a flat comfort shoe and two heels for nighttime!! I always change my mind with my dress too, so I always need two heels!! :womanembarrassed:

At least 2. One for travel, one for my special outfit!  I always keep a pair of thin flip-flops with my toiletry items to wear for bedroom/bathroom-but I don’t count those.

Wednesday, Oct 14-2015… Hi, Skittles! I pack at least 2. A pair of house-slippers because, while I will walk around barefoot in my own house, I won’t in a hotel… or at someone else’s house either.

Then, a 2nd pair of shoes for whatever I’m doing when I get to where I’m going. Schlepping around, a pair of flats. If I’m going to end-up at a fancy-schmancy restaurant, then I’ll take a 3rd pair of dress shoes. It just all depends on where you’re gonna be taking your feet!
