Diane Gilman bottoms…fed up!

I absolutely hate the super stretch material.  Will not purchase another pair, ever.

I had the opposite problem, the jeans came up to about 4 inches below my belly button.  It appears that they aren’t true to size if yours were way too high and mine way too low.  Plus, I won’t order again because of the cost to return where shipping when purchased was free.

Also, HSN is not customer oriented.  If an item you purchase falls apart, regardless of the 30 day return policy, they should take the product back or give you a credit.

At this time the only products I trust are electronics, and not even all categories of them.  The jewlery I have purchased changed color faster than a lizard.  I threw them away.  Waste of money.  There are better companies out their that stand by their products.

I honestly think everyone should boycott her jeans, maybe just maybe it would get her attention because all of these comments are certainly not……the sizing is ridiculous….we just keep sending back the jeans…STOP BUYING NOW and let’s see what happens!  Other than sizing……

I HAVE GIVEN UP ON DG2 JEANS ALSO.  I’VE HAD TO SEND SO MANY PAIRS BACK BECAUSE THEY ROLL UP ALL OVER, THE SUPER STRETCH ARE THE WORST.  UNTIL SOMETHING CHANGES WITH HER JEANS I WILL NOT BUY ANYMORE.  I THINK THEY ARE SO MASS PRODUCED THAT WE ARE NOT GETTING THE QUALITY WE USED TO GET.  TO BAD IT WAS GOOD AT ONE TIME.. I’M GLAD I’M NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS PROBLEM.  WAKE UP DG2 I THINK YOU ARE IN SERIOUS TROUBLE…  LISTEN TO THESE COMPLAINTS!!!!

Purchased Diane’s original jeans from the beginning and they are still going strong. All her new designs I.e. super stretch and the like are horrendous fitting. Either too big or I can’t get them on. Am a true size 2 and sizing has been way off even if you purchase same style in different colors. Her TS Bermudas were just disappointing and no two colors in same size fit the sane way. Quality has definitely been on a downhill spiral.

The last pair I bought were so heavy of material I had to take them right off. It around 80 here all the time. I wear Hot in Hollywoods boyfriend jeans, they are thin enough I dont feel like I have a wool blanket on.

I received mine and they are much better then last years bermuda shorts. My shorts fit more tapered and did not flair out.

The sizes on the bermuda shorts did vary though…

I bought reg, DG size 10 in indigo and they are too big.  The beige size 10 fit perfect..

I did downsize from my reg DG to size 8 on the black pair and they also fit perfect.

I love superstretch fabric! I wear superstretch jeans or jegging almost everyday. No fading on mine, but I don’t leave them in the dryer.  I truly appreciate that most of DG jeans are also offered in tall sizing too. I will see if this fabrication will be too hot in summer.

Not everyone will fit in DG shorts and jeans. Everyone raved about Iman’s Palazzo pants. I was so excited because they offered long length. Mine arrived with the solid pair fitting perfect and the paisley print pair was 6 inches smaller in the waist! Yes, I measured them. So I guess every vendor has issues.  I stick with the vendors which have better sizing for me.

What makes me mad with the DG2 line is once I find a style and size that fits and then order the same exact pant in another color and it DOESN’T fit! I’m mean really? A sizing difference between colors?!!! I rarely order her jeans anymore. 

I feel your frustration gize427.  I had tried DG jeans several times since they seemed to work so well for so many. But I found that they did not work for me; no matter what size I tried they didn’t work. But I realized they were not really cut well for my "areas".  I am hippy and backside blessed but have a much smaller waist. So I gave up until Superstretch. I tried to Superstretch modern bootcut first, not very optimistically and wa shocked into a great fit. I actually had to go down a bit in size but was thrilled it worked for my shape. So decided Superstretch was for me. No classic, etc. But when there was the Superstretch comfort waist TS, I ran into some trouble with the fit of some jeans I ordered. What I realized is that all Superstretch is not the same fabrication. So my trick now is to look for the same Superstretch fabrication of the bootcut (that worked for me) and will try those. The bermuda TS was the same. Maybe that tip might help if you eever decide to try DG down the line. Good luck!

I gave up on Dg2 a couple of years ago and the quality was deteriorating even before superstretch.  So much threads hanging inside of the jeans, and each color had different fit.  So along came the comfort waist jeggings last year where I am an "xst" and I really liked them…..so  a couple of months ago ordered another pair and when I tried them on they fell off they were so large!  So with this new sizing if you are an extra small where do you go????? What are they trying to sell  with the ooohhhhhh I’m a 4 or 6.  Illusion I guess. When you buy certain clothes consistency in sizing should be number one. Sizing is but a number.  However I do like her tailored polyester tops

but doesn’t sell them often. There are many other brands…..starts with an L and has two vowels in it.  Great comfort waist!!

Still have the same two problems with DG jeans that I had the first time I purchased several pairs years ago.  The sizing is inconsistent and expensive to keep sending jeans back that don’t fit and the dye used on the black jeans smells horrific.  I gave it ten years.  That was long enough to fix these two problems.  Buy no more until at least one problem is resolved. 

I think this thread proves the wide diversity of sizes and body types of HSN’S customers.
What works for one might not work for another. I am willing to pay more for quality. Maybe this is the reason for her inconsistency as she tries to keep the cost affordable for everyone. I have a drawer full of Miss Me and Silver jeans that I have been slowly selling on ebay because I now prefer Yummie. I’ve had my issues with DG jeans, but I always find DG denim is my ultimate favorite for comfort. I guess I am showing my age because comfort trumps style, Lol. With DG, I feel I have the best of both worlds. Some frustration to find that world, but so happy when I find it 🙂

I THINK DIANE  WAS TRYING TO PLEASE TO MANY OF US.A LOT OF US  ME TO HAD BIGGER WAISTES THEN THE BABY BOOMER WHO WERE FITTING INTO SMALLER SIZES AND THEY HAD NOTHING FOR US. I WAS A 7 BUT HAD A BREAK DOWN AND WITH MEDICATION I AM NOW 35 WAIST .THERE. ARE MORE COMPANYS IN HSN WITH JEANS.i do hope you find your right size.I wish i was your size take care NETTEA 9:50am  4/11/2015
