Water? Hot water? Cold water? In a huge disaster, hot water is going to be a problem!

I says you can use cold water also. I have 4 of the kits and they are really nice. I bought a small propane camping one burner stove. Anything about camping will do.to heat your water. I have fixed several of the meals on my electric stove and they are tasty. also the orange juice drink is really good

I was wondering if there is no power than it is a lot harder to find ways to heat the water..I can’t imagine eating any of these products cold..but who knows…I may be wishing I ordered one day when we do really need it..lol

I wonder if the food they were eating was packaged 25 years ago!!

I laughed…how they were cooking and eating by candle light but needed hot pads to take the casserole dish to the table!
And…during the presentation, there were dishes that were steaming away like crazy. Ha!

Hot water would be better I am sure. You can always use a camp stove if you have one. One more thing to get into a kit.

I caught the tail end of the presentation, and she said something like, "The water doesn’t have to be hot." She was using a stove…
