Would happily prepare my family’s secret sauced ribs for holiday get together.
Secretprep involves marinade, dry rub, and final hit with sauce at end of grill.
it’s a secret sauce, so would risk family censure if posted. Suffice to say it is a high demand, eaten happily, prepared with love meal.

I would love to use a Char-broil Big Easy for our favorite Marinaded Meats!Homemade Red Hot Marinade for Turkey, Chicken, Ribs, Steaks and QuailIngredients20 tabasco or serrano chiles, stemmed and cut crosswise into 1/8-inch slices, or 12 very ripe red jalapenos (about 10 ounces)
1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic
3/4 cup thinly sliced onions
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
2 cups water
1 cup distilled white vinegarDirectionsCombine the peppers, garlic, onions, salt and oil in a non-reactive saucepan over high heat. Saute for 3 minutes. Add the water and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes, or until peppers are very soft and almost all of the liquid has evaporated. (Note: this should be done in a very well-ventilated area!)
Coat any of the above meats and Char-Broil Big Easy to desired meat temperature. Enjoy!
:heart:Now all we would need is the Char-Broil Big Easy. -
I would be overjoyed to cook my Turkey ,Ham , Prime rib and sides on the grill . I am so exhausted every year basting and sweating in my kitchen , I thought about buying one of the grocery store mystery dinners . I could finally enjoy a Holiday meal without falling alseep after cooking all day and night for my family .
My recipe for Greens .
.
Boil water ,a small amount of salt , 1/2 teaspoon of vegatable oil , Ham pieces or Hocks in a grill safe pot. Boil on low heat with cover .
4 Bunches of Mustard or Collard Greens . …2 bunches if you are cooking for one . Try to purchase slick leaf or curly mustard greens . Avoid large bunches . Very tuff leaves .
Pull leaves off by hand . I am not a fan of stems in my greens .
Fold leaves 2 or three times , depending on the size . Cut into half dollar size pieces . You can cut smaller after cooking .
Fill kitchen sink with cold water and wash greens with a slow motion with clean hands . Remove greens and drain with a strainer . Make sure your sink stopper works .
Repeat wash at least 3 times with clean water . Greens are dirty , but sometime you can’t see the dirt.due to the amount of water grocery stores use to keep the produce fresh .
After you are satisfied with your cleaning ,Place the green in a pot of cold water with your seasons and choice of meat. You only need a half pot of water . Greens produce water . Seal with foil or a lid that ‘meets the requirements for the grill. Bring to a boil and lower heat .Smash the greens down with a fork once or twice for the first 10 minutes to avoid a run over. . Boil for at least 90 minutes Cornbread and your mac and cheese on the side will make you do the Electric slide dance ..:womanwink:
PS. You can leave the salt or oil out of the recipe . Ham will flavor your greens if you cook for the required amount of time .

I would love to cook my awesome brined turkey in my new Char-Broil Big Easy! Here is my fab recipe: 1 smaller turkey about 12 lbs. Brine: 2 c. sugar, 2 c. sea salt, 8 cloves garlic crushed, handful of peppercorns, 7 bay leaves crushed and enough ( 2 gals ) cool water to cover turkey in a brining bag or container. Stir together well to disolve sugar and salt. Place turkey covered in brine, in refrigerator 10 to 12 hours, I use a brining bag inside a roasting pan..Rinse and dry the turkey. Make a paste out of a stick of soft butter. 2 T. olive oil, 2 t. sage,1 t. thyme,1 T. fresh rosemary,1/2 t. black pepper and a T. of minced garlic. Carefully rub paste under the skin of the turkey breast and as far into legs as possible being careful not to tear the skin. Rub any leftover paste all over breast of turkey and lay any leftover fresh rosemary sprigs on the turkey. Put a whole peeled onion and celery stalks inside the turkey cavity. Place in foil pan and procede to cook the best turkey you ever tasted! It’s fun here!:womanwink:

I would cook everything I possibly could on this fantastic grill !
Ribs would be my first. Marinate in Cuban Mojo sauce , and prepare my barbeque homemade sauce.
Mix tomatoe sauce , onion powder , pepper , garlic , orange juice , and crushed pineapple with juice. I also add a small bit of sugar to taste , I love the extra sweetness ! Add a can of rootbeer or coke to your sauce and simmer til thick . Cook your ribs on the Charbroil Big Easy Grill until they start browning and baste with sauce . keep basting every 30 minutes until ribs are tender .
Cook my sausage stuffing ,and whole sweet potatoes right next to Ribs. Good thing to make when you’re Turkeys all gone !

For a great night with friends-serve grilled trout with roasted butter & dill potatoe chunks and grilled corn on the cob. To make the trout use whole trout . Stuff the insides with thin slices of onion and lemon, a sprig of rosemary , fresh thyme and some garlic. Rub the skins with olive oil and sprinkle with course sea salt, then grill several minutes on each side until done. Yummmy ! Serve with wine and great conversation !
