Philips AirFryer with RAT
This product not only seems unessecary, it’s promoting unhealthy food as if it’s a healthy lifestyle. Most of the items they use in the demo are just packaged foods that are fried and flash frozen then reheated in the airfryer. Mozz sticks, chicken fingers, french fries are all pre- fried. Then the times the can save some calories and fat they add oil anyway. No matter what oil used it is minimum 120 calories from fat per tablespoon. This product is a glorified oven.

I have one and love it!! I make my own french fries. I make toasted cheese sandwiches, baked potatoes, steak, greaseless fried chicken, meatballs, chips – both potato and vegetable, frozen fries, hashed browns, moz sticks. Why heat up the whole kitchen by using a large oven? For those that wouldn’t use it then sure it is a waste of money but for many it actually saves money by not having to heat up a big oven. Takes less time when air fryer is used .’ I’m not that concerned about calorie saving but have stomach problems and cannot eat the foods I occasionally like that are fried so for someone like me it’s the best!!! No one is forcing anyone to like and buy it anyway!!

I own 3 AirFryers all purchased from HSN. I have the one currently the TSV and 2 XLs. I bought these because I didn’t want to use a deep fryer or a wok full of oil and grease. Because of food allergies I do not purchase frozen foods whether it be meatballs, turkey balls, vegetables, potatoes, etc.. I make my own fried foods using the Airfryer. I also bake items such as chops, chicken, pork, ribs, etc. using no oil. I add spices to the food prior to cooking and I must tell you that the taste is so different from the oven or microwave. I make my own potato fries without oil and it comes out fried on top and light in the middle. You can make fried cauliflower and broccoli and anything else you wish without the added calorires. The big pluses is that it doesn’t heat my kitchen since we are not air conditioned and cooking takes less time than an oven. Why do I have so many? I have two homes, one in the northeast and the other in Fl… I wouldn’t be without my airfryer on a hot, muggy, humid day in July, August and September..And yes, it took me a long time to purchase one. Like you sofarlaters and Humble I was extremely skeptical. Especially after watching the demo. Then I decided to try it and found you don’t need the frozen items, you can expand and try your own recipes. And one more thing, you do not need breadcrumbs, panko, flour to have the taste of fried.
