Ming Tsai Pan
I purchased a set of his cookware and induction plate and some additional pieces and enjoyed using them for a few months. I was cooking seasoned rice, bringing it to a boil when I received an important phone call and forgot my rice cooking for about 15 min. It was completely burned on the bottom and sides . In spite of my efforts to clean it, it isn’t usable. It was my favorite pan in the set, the 3 qt with side handles.
I’m frustrated that as a supposedly non stick pan could be destroyed so easily so I called CS and was told to call ingenious Designs for warranty coverage. After repeated calls to the number, leaving messages since no one ever answers, I’ve never received a return call. I don’t consider that Customer Service. These pans are advertised that nothing sticks to them but it’s seems impossible to get a replacement if one develops a major sticking problem. Sending HSN customers to Joy for follow up is avoiding responsibility. HSN owns Ingenious Designs so should provide warranty services by interacting with them directly since they don’t bother to reply to messages from customers.
Perhaps customers should be informed that when product lines are asctually from Joy so we can decide whether to risk the lack of customer service. I decided not to continue adding pieces from Ming Tsai since there doesn’t seem to be any functional warranty. It has been a stressful disappointing experience. I had a pan fail after 3 years from a competitor and they didn’t hesitate to replace it. This isn’t good service.

I bought the square pan that was featured with the induction burner TS a few weeks ago. I used it for the first time last night on the induction burner, turned it over while washing it, and found the paint peeling off. This happened with the larger square pan purchased several months ago. Several reviews commented on this defect and I was hopeful that the problem had been taken care of. Both pans were blue. I’m returning this one as I did with the first one. Very disappointed. I won’t buy this cookware again. HSN needs to take responsibility for this quality issue and fix it. It is deceptive to continue to sell this cookware as is.

, I can definitely understand your frustration and wish that there was something we could do to help on our end however the orders are over a year old and well past our 30-day return period. For help with the item, you would need to reach out to the warranty department with the manufacturer at 1-800-248-3002.

@97helron Going to the Grand Canyon sounds awsome. 🙂
If you have time, I recommend Zion National Park. My husband & I loved it. -
As Snow said, the Grand Canyon is magical. It will take your breath away. I have been there many times and I’m still in awe each time I see it. Have a great trip!

? Seeing the Canyon is a magical experience…so excited you’re going!!! Do you plan to do any hiking? My husband and I hiked the Canyon down to the river several years ago and had a wonderful time. I wish it had not been the end of July and I really wish our cabin had hot water but other than that it was a great experience. Enjoy your trip!!!
