If you had to grow your food or make your clothes, which would you choose?

I would grow my food, because I came from a family of farmers and remember how wonderful the food tasted when we went to visit my grandparents. You could say they were the Whole Foods of their time period.

You would first say, “What is the most important in order to survive grow food or make clothes?

Hmmm Good question.

I would think growing food then making clothes:)

Food is much needed in order to survive then to make clothes would be next.

This is my line of thinking.

I would make my clothes, no doubt! I do not like to get sweaty or dirty. My boyfriend always plants our garden. I just water it! 

If I had to choose, I would make my own clothes.  I can’t sew but I can stitch two pieces of material together and make scrubs or muu muus or togas.  I can’t grow anything but weeds and I hate to work in the garden, yuck!  I’m allergic to dirt and mosquitoes!! :womanlol:

Grow my own food , we always have a veggie garden.  I love  homegrown tomatoes, cucumbers , corn and okra (yep I am a southern belle )

Anyway why would I make my clothes……is HSN  quitting selling fashions? 

LOL I would have to find Antthony , Giuliana, Serena , Iman   and Yummy  somehow somewhere .

Neither, I would wander the streets aimlessly, hungry and cold, waiting for my packages to arrive from HSN and save me.:smileyhappy:

I would sew my own clothes. I already know how to sew, I cannot keep plants alive. Once you sew an item, it lasts for a long time, but growing your own food is a continual job. So many things can happen, that you can’t control, that destroys plants. 

Naturally I would grow my own food. Better for your body anyway.

I’d sew my own clothes.  While I’m not an expert seamstress I can sew.  I even made myself a nice knit maxi dress that I just love.  It’s only the teensiest bit lopsided *LOL*.  I’m pretty sure I’m the only one that knows.

If I had to grow my own food we’d all starve.  I have a very black thumb. I can keep my pets and children alive just fine, but not a plant.  I have tried, and failed, so many times to grow things! 

I would choose to grow my own food. It is not very expense, and the food is much better for you. You don’t no where the food is coming from in the stores, but if you grow your own, you no where they are comin from.

I’d choose to make my own clothes for I love to sew.  I’d probably starve to death if I had to grow my own food, because I don’t have a green thumb and my plants all die almost as soon as they start to sprout.  I’m doing Mother Nature a favor by letting the experts do the sowin’ and harvestin’.  I’ll just stick to “sewin’ clothes.  LOL
