Do you own the Lorena Garcia Jumbo Saute pan#400-917? Care & Cleaning
Like to get this Saute pan # 400-917 for stir fyrs etc. in the Manual it says under Care & Cleaning not to add Water to the Pan ,like clening after cooking I know let it cool down but I cannot bring it to the sink just to wash it under running water & a little dish soap? I have few small elec appls. that cannot submerge in water in the sink, but bring them to the sink,to wash it is fine..
But waht about stuck on meat? let it soak in water a little for a while is that o.k?
I don’t wnt to just wipe it clean like after cooking meat or chicken like they show on the video, that is unsanitary.
Please reply asap.Thank’s and have great Monday.

This is safe for hand washing. Wash it like you would any electric skillet, just be careful not to submerge the power plug in. It’s not going to harm the plug in if it gets a little wet.

I found some great directions on how to clean this pan!
- Clean the inside of the appliance by holding over a sink with the probe connection toward the top. Make sure that the probe socket does not come in contact with water.
- Clean with a soft cloth or sponge, using warm, soapy water. Do not use steel wool, harsh scouring pads or nylon scrubbing pads.
- Rinse and dry with a soft towel or paper towel
