Air fryer.
I have been looking at air fryers and thinking of buying one.
Does anyone have one? Do they get food crisp with out a lot of stirring and turning?
Hate to spend money for one if a taoster oven with convection would work the same way.
Thanks for any input.

I also have the $79 one from Walmart, a Farberware. It wasn’t in stock, so I ordered online and picked it up at the store. It’s available with free shipping too. I love it, even though it’s sabotaged my diet. I keep buying frozen french fries, onion rings, and cream cheese jalapeño poppers! I do give the fries a shake halfway through. The air fryer is way better than the toaster oven.

Hi, there is another Air Fryer conversation you may want to see too here.

Does anyone know where to purchase frozen breaded mushrooms to use in the air fryer? I can’t find them anywhere in my town. No one has demonstrated cooking them in an air fryer, but I can’t see why they wouldn’t work. I just purchased an air fryer and it came yesterday so I haven’t had a chance to use it yet. Looking forward to making sandwiches, breaded chicken breasts, and so many more delicious things.

Has anyone purchased an air fryer cookbook? I wonder if there are any out there that cover more than just the recipes that comes with the air fryer? Or…do you know of any online sites that offer recipes for the air fryer? Or…do you have any recipes you’d like to share? I’d love to find more to do with mine than just the usual fries, onion rings, etc.

Sorry to keep posting without replies, but people are reading these posts, even though they may not comment.
I just had the most awesome turkey sub sandwich made using the air fryer. I’d see the demos and think, “That looks mighty good.” Finally got a chance to make one. MMMM MMMM, yummy.
When I first got the air fryer, I could find absolutely no instructions as to what to do when you are supposed to “shake, shake, shake” what you are cooking. There is no pause button and that concerned me, because I didn’t want to have to set the timer and then turn it off each time the food had to be shaken. Finally, I realized that you can just pull the handle and remove the pan and the cooking will pause. Hopefully, that doesn’t put a strain on the unit that may cause it to wear out quicker.
