Which Faux Diamond Jewelry Looks Most Real To You?
I had posted on another thread about Victoria Wieck’s faux diamond wedding set. I’m wondering who else sells the faux diamonds and which ones are closer to looking like the real thing. I started out with Diamonique on the Q but rarely go to that channel any more. I like lots of sparkle and bling. Who do you buy from? The only thing I don’t like are the baguette cut diamonds. All that I own are dull with no sparkle.

Pamlou, I just purchased my first Anuschka bag. I have been watching their presentations for a long time and finally got one. I should receive it this week. I will let you know what I think. I have a couple of Dooneys from Q but they are very heavy. Very well made but heavy. I hardly carry them. Anushcka leather seems a little thinner which will be great for me. The art work is lovely.

i must say that i never met a diamond- faux or real- that i did not like. lol. xoxo

Guess what I’m doing? I’ve been sitting here with my hand up in the air staring at my ring. I hope I don’t catch myself doing this in public without realizing that’s what I’m doing 🙂

What do y’all clean your Bella Luce with? Is Sparkle Sparkle a clean-all for our Heidi, Joan, etc?
-
Heidi Daus I love her jewelry:)
Thank you for asking:)
Some CZ loooks so real as well:)
xoxo

A word to the wise—> DO NOT store your Bella Luce with Heidi Daus jewelry. I don’t know what it is about Heidi’s ‘metal’, but it will turn/ruin the Plating on your Bella pieces. When this happened to me, I immediately bought another Over-the-Door Armoire to store all my Heidi Daus, thus keeping her jewelry separate from all my other jewelry.

I have some diamonique rings that I have had for over 10 years. They still sparkle. I personally can’t tell the difference because many people who have “real” diamonds don’t have the highest quality anyway and their rings probably need a good clean. I do think, though, if you have an extra large stone that you probably can’t afford then people might think it is not real. I think you should wear whatever you like whether genuine precious stones or not. I do have precious stones, but they are rare now, and are over a hundred years old. I do not wear them at all for fear of losing them. I prefer to wear my not so “real” jewelry because I can change up the wedding sets, and I love all the different designs. I haven’t bought any in a long time, now I think I might be tempted. Rings below are gorgeous.

, JTV carries many of lines of jewelry, I’m sorry I confused you by talking about the Artisan Gems of Bali line. I think has explained this to you, so I won’t go into it again. I have just found it a great place to shop with incredible values. At first I was skeptical because the one thing they don’t do well is photograph or broadcast their jewelry very well, they have a lot of improvement to do in the photography aspect of their business. But maybe that is helping keep their costs down. Shhhhh. Don’t tell anyone.:smileyhappy: As far as people asking if your jewelry is real or not, you just tell them anything you want to. I would never ask anyone if their jewelry was real, that is a terrible thing to do to someone, unkind and certainly not necessary. You seem to be getting a lot of joy out of life Pamlou, you go girl.:smileyhappy:

When you are wearing a diamond simulant (that’s a new word y’all taught me yesterday :)) and it is many times bigger than you could possibly afford, and a stranger asks you if it is real, what do you say? What about your friends? I had a friend ask me the weight of my diamonds and I hesitated. I did ‘fess up but I started not to! LOL.

, THIS IS A GREAT THREAD! Your topics are always INTERESTING & FUN.
I don’t get that shopping channel, JTV…now I wish I could. Gonna hit the good old computer and research all these beautiful pieces of jewelry everyone has and talking about. My husband bought me a beautiful diamond eternity band (three of them) from QVC. It was a TACORI, Diamonique, 100 facet. The more facet cuts (i.e. 100) the more it sparkles and shines. It looks soooo real. Also, resembles platinum. I love it. When we go on vacation I wear that instead of my real wedding band. I’ve had it for years now and still looks fabulous.
All the ladies here have very good taste.
, those earrings are to die for. They shine and sparkle so much. WOW!!!! and look like the REAL DEAL!

My Bella Luce diamond came today, and I’m truly impressed! It’s so much prettier in person, being able to see it in the light and 3D instead of just a picture. The sparkle is amazing, even from the tiny accent stones. It sparkles in diffuse ambient light too. It also has accent stones, one facing forward and one facing back, on the front and back of the mounting. I didn’t realize that from the picture.
The emerald ring should be here later this week. It’s going to be sooo hard having to wait over two more weeks from then to wear it!

I must agree with FaireMaiden:womanhappy:,BellaLuce is absolutely beautiful.I think it also has a lot to do with the style you buy from them.I have 2 rings that look as good or better than my very costly diamonds. Then I got another style ring and although it is pretty, just like with diamonds,it was just not my cup of tea.:womansad:
I do wish they would put videos up on their website for those that do not get JTV on TV.Many times the items look so much better than the little pictures they show.
,your choices are beautiful and sounds like you got a great deal.Hope you enjoy them.:womanvery-happy:

I have Victoria Weick and Xavier rings and earrings. I honestly don’t think that anyone who doesn’t know me knows whether any are real or not. I think it’s important to only buy and wear pieces you love, and wear them like they’re real.
I’ve had JTV for a long time, but never paid much attention to it until first started raving about Bella Luce over and over, and that’s been going on for a while. I trust her sense of style and quality. Every now and then I looked, but never spent much time seriously considering anything until last week. Monday I was checking out the rings, and found a BL diamond I loved. It was clearance priced at $19.99, with $2.99 shipping. The next day it was on sale for $16.99 with free shipping. I placed my first order, and started a wish list.
Thursday, my husband asked my what I wanted for Valentine’s Day, and I showed him a BL emerald and diamond ring that was on my wish list. He said OK get it. It was $31.79, with $6.99 shipping. I waited until the next day, and it was $29.74 with free shipping. I love trying to get the best bargain possible, and thought about waiting to order. But $29.74 delivered is nothing to complain about, so I ordered to make sure I could get just what I wanted in my size on time for Valentine’s Day.
My first ring should be here tomorrow or Tuesday. My Valentine’s Day gift is processing. JTV’s prices can’t be beat. might have put me on the path to a new addiction.
Here’s my rings…

I have a couple of VW’s rings that have a nice sparkle to them. I also have Bella Luce which is very nice as well. I do have a Tacori that I purchased from Q years ago. Although I have not purchased any Vanna K from JTV her Bella Luce looks absolutely lovely.
