There’s several ways you can do this. You can slice or chop, flour and bread them and lightly fry or deep fry in oil.
I also cut in half, or slice or chop, and saute in olive oil or bacon grease.
Yummy either way. And this is coming from someone who used to hate brussel sprouts.

Thanks, but I am looking for the specific on-air presentation that I saw. They were demonstrationg something in the kitchen, and he cooked/fried them "live". For lihe life of me I can’t remember what it was. It was NOT Wolfgang Puck and it is Driving me crazy. -(

I did a search on the food network and one video and two recipes popped up. The video is Aaron Sanchez on The Best Thing I Ever Ate. He is talking about Michael Symon’s Deep Fried Brussels Sprouts and they do a demo in the kitchen. One recipe was Michael Symon’s Fried Brussels Sprouts with Walnuts and Capers. The other was Geoffrey Zakarian’s Fried Brussels Sprouts with Creamy Mustard and Cider Dressing. Good luck with your search, I know how it is. I once had a favorite cake recipe I had lost for years, then one day while going through some old cross stitch magazines, there it was stuck in middle of the stack!! I have no idea why I would have put it there, but I was so happy to find it.

Over the last 2 weeks there gave been a couple of thanksgiving specials on the Food Network, all of which had iron chefs demoing/preparing brussel sprouts. All of these shows are available on demand so you can rewatched the shows. Don’t necessarily go by the titles because they will only list one person and each show I have watched has at least 5 chefs demoing various foods. If you are referring to something you saw here on HSN, please post which week you saw the demo.

BEast13, this recipe is on HSN’s website here. I’ll try to post it here, but if that doesn’t work, it is Pan Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Chorizo by Curtis Stone. Just click Kithchen & Food, then scroll down to Delicious Holiday Dishes ,click View Recipes and the recipe is on page 3.

The moderation on the website is very interesting.
