MEASURE JEWELRY – PLEASE PLEASE
Turned on Jay King with Connie.
Morganite Earrings.
How wide- 1/4 inch?
How long – 1 inch, 1 1/2 inches?
WHAT ABOUT THE BACKS
Shepherds hook?
Lever back?
Post and clutch?
Glue-on I guess.
Come on! How difficult is it to hold a ruler and turn around an earring stand!

Hi ,
I totally agree!

Connie is one of the worst w/ presenting important details. I’m not sure why she gets scheduled so often on the jewelry shows. :catfrustrated:

The morganite earrings are posts with clutch backs and are 1 13/16″ long and 1/4″ wide.

This has been a pet peeve of mine for many, many moons. Due to my puny wrist I’m especially concerned about bracelet lengths. Over the years I’ve noticed that even if a length is said on air or noted online, they can actually run a bit longer. It’s so disappointing (and costly) to have to return items you love because the size is off. It’s especially hard to know about cuffs or bangles, though usually I just assume they’re too big! (I still miss Suzanne Somers and her lovely sterling/cz bracelets that often came in three sizes. Those were the days.)
Thank you bringing this up!

Bangle bracelets need to be measured to go over your hand, not just your wrist size. If you can’t get it over your hand there is no need to worry about your wrist size.
