The shoe card is just adorable and couldn’t have turned out better! Those borders look great and the the good luck gingerbread man turned out great. I can’t wait to see the teddy bear finished.
Have you been coloring and sewing too?

It’s so good to see you back posting and sharing your craft experiences with us!! :womanvery-happy: That is a beautiful birthday card. I’m so glad that your Brother Scan N Cut has become even more flexible with the additional accessories, software, and updates..
I think that we should all rub your Good Luck Charm before we do Spin2Win! :womanlol:
Looking forward to your felt bear. I love how you explain how you made the items. I was wondering if it might be helpful for you to post a pic of your Scan N Cut along with the HSN number in case some people want to see what you used for these and other projects.
I’m looking forward to your new posts and I hope that other crafters will share some of their creations with us.
Welcome Back, CupaTea!! :womanvery-happy:

Thank You DBQ for your suggestions and I will do that. Glad we got to get in touch.
My Scan n cut is an older model.CM550/550DX
Here on HSN you have one of the newer models the CM350 Scan n Cut2.
With this not being craft month and with a lull in the craft posting. I have time to show you what my scan n cut looks like to maybe explain the differences between the scanncut2 and I will call mine the scan n cut.
Here is a link to the CM350 Brother Scan N Cut2 sold here on HSN. Item #522-300.
That is the one from the last craft show January 10, 2017. Maybe it will come back again for the next craft show.
My scanncut was one of the first machines. It is now upgraded to the ScanNCut2. What the Scan n Cut2 has that mine does not have is it can go wireless and has newer designs and fonts than mine.
What Brother Scan N Cut has done the past year is give all the scan n cut machines updates. For the machines and the Canvas that is the free program that you can use to make your own creations etc.
Brother has now made embossing available to us. They are coming out with a Foil kit or some kind of Foil accessories in the near future. I always look forward to what the new updates are.
Brother has also given us a free program called Type Converter. It is a program that you get free from Brother downloads and install it on your computer. Once you have it in stalled you can then use it with any font from your word program or that you find free or paid for. You can make any type of word creation and use any kind of font with it IE the birthday card pink high heel.
The Universal pen holder Item #463-166
The Brother glitter iron on Item #463-103 I really like using these products.
I was going to post up some pictures Via DubuqueRams Suggestion. However my battery in my camera is recharging. I will post up the pictures later.
Thank you all for Posting,Smiling, and reading my post. I am very grateful that you all like my crafting. I am not a proffesional crafter. I only make things for myself and friends.

Update here are the pictures of my scan N cut and my designs and Universal pen Holder. Note the Universal pen holder better known as the UPH has a regular ball point pen in it. I can use it to draw or to write out any sentiment found in the scan n cut or ones I create myself. Plus if I wanted to I could color in any design or creation with it via my scan n cut.
First picture is of my scan n cut cm550
.
Next picture is of some of designs I used to create stencils for acrylic paintings that I am learning how to do. These designs are for creating a landscape painting depicted of the fall with pumpkins and trees and squirrels and acorns
Next picture is of the bear project that is in the making. It show the bear completely separated from the bear border and sized to the size I want and the 1/4 inch sewing line around it. I created this in the scan n cut canvas program.
Next picture of the universal pen holder sitting in its applicator before I placed it in my scan n cut.
Next picture is of the Universal pen holder and pen sitting in scanncut tool holder.
.
Last picture is of the high heel shoe birthday card in scan n cut canvas after I designed it from there using the type converter. The picture is of the Birthday card before i downloaded it to my usb stick because remember I am not wireless and before I brought it over to my scanncut and cut it out and completed it.
If you would like to upload your own pictures just look at the top of the post you are typing in and count over to the ninth icon the one that looks like a landscape picture.Click on that. When the box comes up click on browse. Find your picture and click ok Then follow the prompts insert image and your picture should be posted.
Unless your ranking is less then an adviser you will have to wait for the picture to be approved by the monitors of the site. I generally go with picture size as medium. I like that size best. You can also change the name of your picture before you post it up.
Thank you all again for stopping in posting reading smiling.:smileyhappy: I hope I was able to make this a little bit more understandable as to what I do with my scanncut.

Cupatea, WELCOME BACK. I was so happy to see your posts. They are always so informative and fun. I love everything, but please, please, post some pictures of the fall landscape painting you are designing. I would love to see it. I love everything fall and pumpkins. If has been such a long time, but weren’t you working on some banquette cushions? How did they turn out. Glad to see your back and can’t wait to see more of your wonderful creations. Happy Crafting, Possum29

Cupatea, have you been coloring? I remember you bought a lot of books and supplies.

. Hi CupaTea, I just had to take a moment to tell you how creative you are!
I can’t wait till I can afford (without guilt, that is) to get the Brother Scan N Cut. After comparing it to the Cricut that folks seem so fond of, I think the Brother is hands down the better choice, in my opinion anyway.
So come on lottery ticket, or even my Superbowl Pool bets, I need some unexpected “free money” to spoil myself.
Otherwise, I’ll be good and patient and wait until I’m done paying for my son’s college bills, then I’ll have lots of money to splurge 🙂

I am now going to mention to you and show you something I made for a wedding in September of 2016. Plus I will show you some of the other products that I use that are not from Brother but yet it is still using my Scan n Cut and also my Singer sewing machine 9970. I did buy the sewing machine here on HSN a while ago now.
First up is I have purchase accessories from Cricut to use with my scan n cut.
Item #116-1561 Cricut tools 5piece. I like this because it comes with the 5 pieces. The weeding tool, scissors and cap, scraper for getting off the bits spatula for lifting off vinyl and papers that are harder to get off the mat. I like the tweezers for picking out the weeding in hard to reach places and for small pieces. I found this to be good bang for my buck. With that said I did get it on sale so I did pay less.
Next up is Item #452-013 this is Gold and Silver iron on 12×38. I purchased just the Silver 12×19. I also got that on a sale price. I also have the vinyl iron and 12×19 and used that to make a tooth molar and ironed it on to a pocket that I made for a tee shirt.
Next up is Item #452-014 Gold and sliver window Cling I also have this in red I made Christmas designs and stuck them to my windows in 2015 and then used them again this past Christmas in 2016.
I like to mix it up with products so just give you a heads up you are not limited as to the products you want to use. Some are better bangs for the buck then others. Some are bigger and you might get more then the other. Either way you go you create something and it is beautiful.:smileyhappy:
With that said here is what I did with Cricut and Brother glitter iron on transfer sheets Silver. I cannot tell at this point who is who except for the big arm butterfly, I did that with the cricut silver iron on.
Front of toga/shawl I wore this over a black and silver shift dress. Sorry this is on it’s side. I did rotate it up right but not coming in here as that.
Sorry this are all coming out on their sides. Back of toga/shawl
Next picture is of the arm coverage with butterfly. Cricut Glitte iron on.
Next picture is of the bottom point of the toga/shawl I did one butterfly for each point total of two.
Last picture is of the Hem with decorative stitching. I used my singer sewing machine for that.
I paid a dollar and ninety five cents for the fabric and I got two yards at 60 inches wide. that was enough fabric to make this for me. The design is the butterflies float around from back to front and up to the arm of toga/ shawl. I can come back and add more maybe I will.:smileyhappy:
It is not perfect but easy enough to make. I did rotate those first two pictures for up right but sorry they are on thier side.
Thank you all again for stopping into my post and taking a peek and leaving kinds comments
