How often do you accessorize your outfit with a brooch pin?

Because I’m retired now I don’t wear suits but only casual clothing. My only way to wear her fabulous Heidi pins are on a winter coat and on necklaces. That works out really great! I like the idea of wearing on a wrap dress so I think I’ll give that a try. Wow wow wow Sheba2011. You certainly should be crowned the number one Heidi girl!!!!! Love love love your collection of pins. It’s fun to see the pins and jewelry that were made before I discovered Heidi this past year. Wouldn’t it be cool if we had a collectibles book of everything she has ever made so we could collect it inyears to come once a piece has been retired. I plan to leave all my Heidi jewelry to my granddaughters. In years to come they will truly become rare. They already are collectibles! I need to find a curio cabinet as I’m tired of storing them in boxes. Thanks for sharing your fabulous collection!

I love to wear your beautiful brooch pins on a jacket or scarf. I also have worn them on a ribbon or chain as a necklace.  I’m so lucky because I get to watch you Heidi on tv twice in the same week. Once in Canada on The Shopping Channel and now here on Sunday on HSN. How lucky can a Heidi Girl be? Double the pleasure and double the fun!! As often as possible :smileyhappy: I love my brooches and love to show them off. I think my favorite way to accessorize with a brooch is on the waist of a wrap dress. I pin a brooch near the side of my waist, right above the tie. 

Your brooches can be spotted across a room they are so distinct.  Sadly today’s fashions are so flimsy that a nice brooch will just drag a top out of shape unless it has some structure.  Please continue to show other ways to use them, like hooking them on a necklace.  They are the most under appreciated piece of jewelry today, I think.  They are also great hooked on a headband or clip for your hair.  They are just too wonderful to linger in a jewelry box.

When I worked full time, it was daily. It is not that much now but whenever I can, I still do. I love pins. I used to wear several small ones grouped together on my shoulder.

i absolutely ADORE brooches, especially the vintage ones. i have a few weiss pieces that i covet. however, here’s my little secret, i wear “magna-pins” with my brooches. this way i don’t pierce my clothing. sometimes if the piece is heavy i double-up and use two magna-pins to hold the piece in place. i actually bought my magna-pins many years ago through qvc. i’m not sure if the q still sells them. the last time i checked, they did not. however, if you google magna-pin, you’ll get a direct link to their website so you can purchase them there. also, i did find them for sale one time on amazon. good luck and happy pinning!!! love you heidi!!! stay awesome, my heidi girl friends. xoxo

I love pins.  I wear them all the time.  Sometime on blazers or even on a hat.  I think they dress up any outfit without dressing to the nines.    Love them!!!!
