Hello, Heidi Girls…. long time, no chat!

Hi ladies. Has the other Heidi Fan thread been deleted? I haven’t been here for quite a while. The website just does not work for slow connections and older eyes. Obviously HSN does not care about my age group, from reading news releases and doing the surveys.

Anyway, I received 2 of the TS’s, the turtle and starfish. They came in bright blue boxes. Has anyone received these? Are these going to be used for TS’s? Look, I know the box is not that important, but I do want to express this thought: I posted, I think, on this site when I received my very first HD piece. It was a necklace, and a TS. The black box with the gold sleeve most beautifully presented that necklace to me. I remember being surprised at myself when I “gasped,” literally, upon opening that box and seeing what was inside.

I find the new blue boxes garish, distracting the eye from what is inside. Does anyone else feel this way, after experiencing the black packaging?

I love the starfish. The turtle, although I am a turtle collector, seems distracting with the sparkly colors, to my eye. Beautiful, though but I am wondering about whether to keep it. The clip on earrings are wonderfully comfortable!

Anonymous, I received the two blue boxes, yes. I was actually pleasantly surprised because over the last few weeks HSN sent out Heidi’s stuff with NO SLEEVES at all!!! So any sleeve was nice. I do certainly prefer the gold over the blue, but it’s not as important to me as sleeve over no sleeve. It does not distract me from the inside because I take it off before looking into the inside.

I am not happy with the TS, not at all. The stations are very very beautiful, but the beads are too big and too cheap looking. Pity because I really do like the turtle and the flower. I am tempted to keep both and restring them with some better beads, but for the price that seems to be too much of an effort. On the other hand the American swag necklace that I also ordered is amazing. Just what my big fat neck needs. I think I will keep the red TS anyway, but send the turtle back in. I’ll try them on tomorrow morning and make up my mind.

I hadn’t even seen the American swag. It’s beautiful. I wish I’d seen the presentation. I think my turtles are going back too. Wish I wasn’t feeling so negative. Maybe sleeping on it will be good for me lol!

I wonder if those bright blue boxes are just for TS’s.

Well it took me 3 attempts and several slow-loading web pages each attempt to even sign in here. Now I remember why I don’t stop by any more! It’s like it’s user-inefficient programming. All this tracking and huge pictures load first, then the sign-in information is last. For a slow connection, that often crashes before it gets to logging in the user information. Such a mess of a site.

I am not sure if the American swag was presented that day. I saw it in the clearance section and my greedy coveting eyes could not let it go…

I ordered a set of the “Simply Stated” in light gray (necklace, bracelet, and earrings). Here’s the bracelet 225-023. I noticed a pair of the earrings in chocolate just popped in, and there are a couple of the necklaces left. The clearance prices are fab.

My black evening dress would have been very plain without the jewelry. Heidi always says, “Keep your clothes simple and jewelry fabulous,” so I followed our leaders instructions. loll
Sigh, whey do I love jewelry so much? I should have married a jeweler!

Hi Sally and Tillie – you can find the Heidi forum if you google HSN + Heidi Daus + fan . I was going to post there but then saw this thread. Sally – I’m with you – looooove jewelry! It’s almost an addiction!
Tillie – I also ordered the Boho necklace; am half-hoping that I won’t like it so I will return it and not spend so much as I have also ordered the “Be linked in” necklace and earrings (have wanted that necklace for a long time and Heidi just brought it back).

I will miss all of Heidi’s appearances this week as I’m on business travel in Brazil (arrived here today) and Argentina for 2 weeks. Please post lots of details so that I can enjoy Heidi’s shows vicariously through you [-o< I will also miss the opportunity for a lot of her special priced items during the live shows 🙁 . Hey just wanted to revisit that big red TS necklace that I kept. It actually works with some semi-casual fun tunics. It is very big and very red, but this season, with tunics it works. I have a black tunic with red flower and birdie and some red motifs, this necklace really completes it. It is not to the usual Heidi standards as the station keeps flipping around, but I am still enjoying it.

Had to order a couple pins yesterday. Got the piggy and the small elephant that’s on sale now. Piggy looks absolutely adorable online and I imagine, will be so on me as well. I wish Heidi would start adding an enhancer clasp to the back of her pins to make it easier to use them on necklaces.

Ok, so I got the Boho necklace and earrings two days ago, and the necklace, I have to say, is absolutely STUNNING. I have a number of favorites amongst Heidi’s pieces, but this is right up there at the top of the list. I think it would be gorgeous if done in shades of blue and shades of red/pink as well. I think the earrings are a little on the large size for the necklace, but will be keeping them as they compliment the necklace well. I just think they could have been a little smaller in scale. But the necklace really is breathtaking. It’s NOT going back!! :d/ =d>

Fabulous anniversary and a TS are they not? I wish the pin/pendant was a bit smaller… Heck, no I don’t. I am currently trying to justify buying third color in TS. I grabbed the heart necklace on an impulse though so don’t want to buy the same color way… I want that dragon bracelet so bad too! The only thing holding me in check is that I do not wear bracelets much, and all fabulous bracelets I do own are just sitting in the cabinets.
