Hi, everyone. Candace has suggested we close the 2012 Fan Thread as it was well-over 2,000 posts. Thus, here is the new Heidi Daus 2016 Fan Thread.

I’d like to make a little change to this Thread to include any Problems and/or Complaints with any of Heidi’s products. I’m sure they will be few and far between, and we’re all mature enough to respond acccordingly.
PICS are more than welcome, and the more the merrier… after all, a picture is worth a thousand-words; so, get those photos of Heidi’s pretties posted!
Quick Warranty / Repair Information: if you have a problem with any of Heidi’s jewelery, she can be reached at 1-800-416-6004. Heidi collectors,
Does any of you know what type of metal Heidi uses for her chains? Is it brass or just plain gold plated metal?

I love my HD pieces! perhaps I’ll post a photo some day. I store them in my Prestige Jewelry Trays because I like to be able to visually index everything easily.
I have a great story — a Heidi Daus necklace I bought brough broke the first or second time that I wore it. I contacted her customer service directly (HSN directed me to an email address, I assume somewhere in NJ where she’s based) and they said “send it back!” They fixed it and sent it back free of charge and it’s been sturdy ever since.
She really is so creative and lovely and backs it up with old fashioned customer care!

Omg, did you see the little squirel HSN just added to Heidi’s jewelry? Preparing for her anniversary month, much? Keep them coming!

?That is AMAZING! You go girl!!!! I love it:heart: I see you collect music and
butterflies. Both are near an dear to my heart.
I love the way you displayed that. I always keep my Blue boxes and the Original Gold Box.
I do store some of the jewelery the way you do and some I put in the 2 Curios.
Oh, that just look so great. I love meeting a Heidi Girl:heart:l
You made me smile today:womanhappy:

I’m not even close to the big HD collections some of you have but here’s my first curio cabinet I got. Not new but it’ll work for now. Still many pieces left out so I guess I still need another curio. Plus the prospective new pieces of jewelry in September…..
Some of the pieces here are my daughter’s: the Newport Chic II as TS in July (I got one in white but I displayed hers first), the beautiful dogwood flower necklace on top, the butterfly hairpiece in the middle, the treble clef, some earrings and rings. The Storm Trooper is also hers, and she has the necklace too. Beautiful pieces!

Heidi will have the TS on Sept 12th .

Oh, it’s only me around here but I’ll still post, for when all of you come back.
So, how could we suggest Heidi to make more of the fabric cords in different colors for her enhancers/pendants? It would be great to have several of the cords and be able to wear whichever you want that day. That means more of her oendants would need to become removable enhancers. 😉

For the HD ladies who are keeping their jewelry in curio cabinets, how do you place them inside? On their own support from the blue box? Some other type of cushions, or you have specific jewelry holders? I’m about to get a curio caninet for my HD beauties and I’d like to hear some suggestions.
Thanks in advance. 🙂

Heidi has a big summer sale on her website and the prices are way less than here, on those items that are both here and there. Will we have a sale next month maybe? I’m soooo tempted to get something from there! Anything about that, please?

I got a couple of Heidi’s pieces that were on waitlist and when they arrived, instead of having that “Heidi Daus” on the blue strip that keeps the box closed, they had “It’s here!” On the strip. Was this because they were maybe returns? Not that I mind getting returns, I wanted them too badly not to keep them. I inspected them thoroughly and nothing is misssing or misfunctioning. But they could’ve used the Heidi Daus on the boxes, not the so-generic “it’s here”…. Especially because I keep them all in boxes and I have other jewelry pieces too. Now I’m going to have to check in all my boxes for the piece I want to wear.
Or get a curio cabinet for all these beauties. 😉

Oh, se we can post here our beauties! Good thing I remembered 🙂

What’s happening with bangles’ sizing? I was almost ready to order “Ripple Effect” which is gorgeous but it’s so small! Almost for kids’ wrists. Heidi, could you please have bangles made for a wider range of wrists sizes? Like “Would You Be Mine” bangle, which is nicely fitting wrists up to 7’1/4″. I’d love to get more bangles but their size is not always my friend. 🙂

Ladies, any tips for securing pins to necklaces? I am experimenting with beaded necklaces. I purchased Heidi’s horizontal pin small seashell, item 496-780. It worked attached to my Classically Clever silver pearl necklace. The little shell is also nice as a pin cover for a buttoned up collared shirt. I attached it to Heidi’s Take II beaded double necklace in coral, item 477-439. I tried a small piece of fabric to keep it from slipping around, but any other ideas?

Question for those of you who wear Heidi’s jewelry often: how do the crystals hold? I’m always aftaid to lose a crystal…
