TS from Heidi was shown briefly in the show – bracelets in the “Irresistible Impressions” set in the three colorways shown and two sizes.

The only piece I got this time around was the hair clip, which is beautiful. I really loved the charm bracelet and the balloon pin, but thought the prices a bit too high. I agree that her prices seem to be getting too high overall. I’m sure the cost of manufacturing the pieces has gone up, but perhaps simpler pieces at a more reasonable price point would help. I love her artistry, but can’t justify buying more pieces that just sit in my jewelry box. I adore her and love watching her, but will be seriously limiting what pieces I buy in the future. Also, I loved the elephant pin, but it didn’t seem that different from the Mr. Majestic elephant pin she did awhile ago, which I have (and also have the necklace). The Water Lillies pieces are lovely, but totally out of my price range. I’m doing the charm-of-the-month club, and by the time that’s finished, the entire bracelet will be over $700.00. That’s a lot of money. As I said, I will continue to watch and buy pieces here and there, but not like I used to. Sorry, Heidi. ](*,)

Hey, Tillie and Heidi gals!!
I’ve been away from the forum for a reaaalllly long time and probably due to the higher Heidi pricing…. can’t handle the temptation. Can’t collect as much as I use to. Still an occasional piece, and love love love watching her shows and seeing the bling, but if all my favorite pieces are $400, just can’t justify. sigh! now, it’s a very special treat and those aren’t my favs. Hope all are well and those that can – do, and tell us allllll about them!Hi tooolate and Heidi Girls,
I’m with you on loving the Heidi stuff but her pricing becoming a big deterrent to buying as much as I’d love to. Sigh. Anyone know what her TS will be this time? -
Peacocks, frogs, symbolism…occult (secret). Eye business.

I LOVE her beautiful pieces. The Oz stuff – all i could manage to get was the balloon and the frog ring. both beautiful. i am glad that she has pierced earrings. i can’t wear clip because i get incredible headaches from them. so, no matter how heavy – i’m happy that they’re available. Movie: peacocks may have been swirling away in a tiny instant. frogs were left to their own murky devices. obviously, as in their other movie tie-ins, hsn goes through what might be applicable and uses those products. I still love the movie tie-ins – it just means that occasionally you can get some incredibly creative and beautiful things that you might not otherwise.
-
I agree with several of you that Heidi’s designs on the recent “Oz” series were outstanding! But I’m confused about some of the products.
HSN had obviously given each of the vendors an advance copy of the movie to inspire the designs. Heidi’s balloon pin was incredible! There were multiple vendors who incorporated peacocks, frogs or snakes into their products. I saw Heidi’s snake and frog inspired pieces; I don’t know if she did a peacock, since I had to sleep some time in 48 hours!
I saw the movie during its opening weekend, but I don’t remember peacocks, frogs or snakes making appearances in the film. Did I miss something? It just seems so odd that those themes would show up with Heidi, Anthony Design Originals, and so many other others if they weren’t in the movie.
Maybe they were in one big scene that was in the advance copies but got cut before the public release. Or maybe I just missed them. If anyone out there saw these creatures on the screen, please reply.
Oz-related or not, Heidi’s pieces were great!

Hi Sally,
I, too, purchased both the Bling Guards for rings as well as for earrings. It wasn’t uncommon for me, as well, to purchase two of the same ring in different sizes. Definitely a great idea. Now, they need to do one for bracelets.
Purchased a lot of nice pieces this time around. All keepers. Hope you, too, picked up some nice things for yourself. Can’t wait to read all of the reviews.
Take care, be well and will check back soon.
Love,

Hi Heidi Friends –
I have two problems:
1.) I just can’t stand pierced earrings that are too heavy and if my ear is bleeding when I take them off, I never feel like wearing them again.2.) I need two different ring sizes. Depending on weight, humid weather, swelling, which finger etc. etc. my ring size changes.
I found these helpful items on HSN:1.) BlingGuardStabilizing Earring Supports Item: 244-948
($15.95 for 90 sticky dots that stick on back of ear lobes)You stick a round sticky dot on the back of your earlobe. Push the earring post through your ear piercing and the sticky dot, then put on the earring backs (or French backs). Your stud earrings will stay in place and not sag over. They also help hold the weight of the earring and your lobe doesn’t pull down. Happy me!
The mfg, says to throw the dot away after use, but if you don’t have cream, hair spray, or some such product, on your lobes, to mess-up the sticky side of the dot, they can be used several times. The only problem I had was figuring out where, on my lobe, to put the sticky dot so the post would go through the middle of it. I put it on too high the first time but got it centered the second try. However, now that I think about it, it might be better to stick the dot higher on the back of the lobe so the post goes through lower part and the dot takes more of the weight of the earring. I’ll have to practice a little.
*By-the-way I have tried the plastic discs before (to help with heavy earrings) and they did not work for me. They added to much bulk to the back of my ear lobe and the earring backing would sometimes come off.
2.) BlingGuardInvisible Ring Guards Item: 244-95 ($15.95 for 30 sticky sizing strips in a little plastic box)
Great for eternity rings ring or Heidi Daus faux ones that can’t be sized!
Strips worn under a large ring can size-up a finger 2 sizes.
This is going to save me from buying a ring in two sizes which, as foolish as it seems, I have done when I loved the ring. From now on I’m just going to buy the larger size.
Well, it’s live and learn. I’d heard of these these things but didn’t know where to find them and here they were on HSN all the time!
Hope this helps someone.
Love – Sally

Hi All,
Don’t have as much chance as I’d like to get on lately, but I’m still an avid collector of the line. I oftentimes will purchase directly from the source, especially if HSN sells out of something they’ve offered in the past and don’t have anymore.
This time around I’ve purchased quite a lot of things and the onslaught will be delivered both today and tomorrow. I i did pre-order quite a few things.
What have you all ordered this time around. Miss chatting with all of you gals, Hope all is well with you and your families and look forward to hearing what baubles you selected.

HI Chinnu– Lucky you to have gotten both elephant pins, they are enchanting. About wearing pins ini various ways, the bead strand necklace idea that fortyandfabulous suggests is great, also versatile, you can try different types and colors of bead / crystal strands. How about a strand of lapis (pricey but would match the blue enamel), or any of the other colors in the elephant. Valleygirl has some good ideas along these lines. If you can access her Flickr photos, there are some examples there of other pins with bead strands. Heidi suggests additional ideas for her pins, such as pinning one onto a scarf or shawl, suspending one on a silk, velvet or other ribbon to make a pendant necklace (of any length), to clip onto a ribbon or sash around the waist. She also has suggested that a pin can also make an attractive ornament to pin it to a handbag or evening purse, or even a hat which she has done with some pins (this elephant might be too large for a hat). … I agree that the prices are climbing. Hope you find some fun solutions!

Hey, Chinnu – yes, I was thinking the same thing about Daus pricing. I guess her items are still selling well, so they haven’t priced enough people out of them yet. I sometimes wonder why I keep buying her line because of this, but I really do love her artistry, and the pieces have better resell value than some (not all) of the other prominent shopping lines. I didn’t get your gorgeous pin, so I can’t give much advice about it, but I have had luck with clipping other pins of hers onto some of the plain bead necklaces she’s offered, so that it looks like a drop necklace. Good luck figuring them out – they are so pretty!!

Did you guys watch the Oz event with Heidi today? Gosh, I loved SO many pieces! I had already received the Water Lilies necklace and left a review for it – SO worth the investment! What pieces caught your eyes? Valleygirl, thanks so much for all you do to maintain a Heidi archive and share it with us! When I was watching the show tonight, I really felt pulled in by the Leap of Faith pieces and was trying to decide whether to order. I suddenly remembered that you said you had posted a pic of yours, so I found it and that helped me make up my mind to go ahead and buy it (the ring and the pin, too, although I expect that I might not keep the pin). I read your review about it on the item page also, and agree that I really wish she had used the same colorway in the pin design!
Hi fortyandfabulous – didn’t Heidi look absolutely gorgeous yesterday? The Affair to Remember and the Water Lilies pieces are breathtakingly beautiful (the WL necklace looked absolutely stunning in the close-up camera shots)! Lucky you to own at least one of these pieces. Wish I could buy them but I have already bought BOTH colors in the Queen of Siam elephant pin (before it sold out) – I couldn’t decide which to keep and loved them both – so I kept them both :d/ . I have a thing for elephants. I also bought several other pieces that had been on my wish list for a while (some on clearance, yay :d/ )! Do Heidi’s prices seem to be going up quite a bit lately?
If any of you bought the Siam elephant pin, could you please suggest some ways to wear it? I tried one of these on my shoulder and it looks rather big on me … but I’m still keeping both gorgeous pins. Any way to wear these as pendants on a bead or crystal necklace? Is that doable? Would love some ideas (‘m not very good at this kind of stuff). Thanks.
