I am 5’3 but very fat. I wear Heidi necklaces pretty much anywhere – to work, to parties, anywhere. Not all of them though. There is this giant necklace with tassels I bought a whole while ago; the only time I wore it, my son dubbed it a WoW (World of Warcraft) trinket – it just looks so awkward. I never wore it again, and can’t imagine starting to. The most casual piece I have – the giant plastic beads with a flower that was the TS a couple weeks ago – I wear with casual clothes. Well, dressy casual, not a t-shirt, but I wear it going to a park and to friends and all that with a fun tunic. The most formal piece I think I have is the French Collar in black – and that I wear on more official occasions. The rest I wear anywhere. The same with pins. Pins will go anywhere. I prefer the necklaces that are on the smaller size, usually (Heidi’s small size LOL not small like some older women were posting in Jewelry).

I stopped buying bangles and bracelets because they are too heavy and impractical. I sit behind desk a lot, and they are in the way. I also do not like how they clunk going up and down my wrist when I move. It’s not just Heidi’s though, any bangles. I have gorgeous bracelets and hardly ever wear them.

Heidi’s earrings, with very few exceptions, are too heavy for me and I do not wear them. I wear my old Rebel design earrings from years ago with Heidi’s necklaces.

My thought on large jewelry – it’s easier to pull off when you are a big fat woman like I am, but in the end, it is a matter of attitude. I have so many people tell me how my jewelry and my bright clothes work on me – that’s because I wear them with confidence and fun. I feel happy when I dress bright, and I think this happiness and energy project on other people. (Or I am a fat old clown in denial LOL).

If you are a very thin small woman, and you feel a bit shy about large pieces, don’t buy the very large necklaces (the ones that usually are $300 and up), buy smaller ones. Buy rings. They are fabulous. They are so much fun. They sparkle like crazy under light.

Loving the new stuff from Heidi….beside myself with my latest purchase – Celebration of Color necklace and earrings – what a wowser! much more impressive than pics and video!!…waiting delivery on the “Sweet Temptation” Cherry necklace and earrings (had to get the discounts, and with coupons from spin to win). And, isn’t the new Angels collection absolutley to die for?!! Was a little distressed when I got my celebration of color set – the box was oversized and with a black sleeve…I store my collection in their original boxes labeled with placards telling me what is in each box, and up til now had a nice uniformed arrangement. This just doesn’t fit!!! emailed Heidi asking if she could send me the gold sleeve and maybe even a smaller box – havent’ heard back yet. Keep your fingers crossed for me! What’s everyone into??

Hello tooolate! You are right – I wasn’t impressed with the Celebration of Color set when I saw the pictures online, but then I saw the model and Heidi wearing it on her show and – WOW! It is really gorgeous! Yes, I too am not happy with the black boxes (yes,I also received oversized boxes last month) and miss the gold sleeves – though I am nowhere near as organized as you =d>

I have already received the coral necklace toggle set. The toggle sets, when worn long with shorter necklaces, layer beautifully. I decided to just get the coral version but got so many compliments on it last night I have gone back for the turquoise and cream colors – which are now waitlisted! Darn! I doubt many will be returned.

Hi Sally – looking forward to your reviews of your Heidi items so I can enjoy them vicariously through you! I bought just one pair of earrings this time – had to resist temptation as I had bought a ton of stuff from her July 5 shows. I’m finding too that many of her new items are just too big for me to wear (I’m petite) or just too pricey – so sad. Really want some of her bangles and bracelets but all are just too big for my wrist. Where do you wear all your Heidi stuff? Wish I could see all of you ladies (not just the HSN models) wearing your Heidi stuff in real life! I can wear a few simpler, smaller pieces to work but not the more elaborate ones. I’m collecting more than I’m wearing – but it’s an addiction!

It looks like there are some beauties this visit. I got the Queen of the Nile necklace and earrings. I absolutely love Heidi’s scarabs and this design and color way looks spectacular. There are a couple of pins that look pretty cool too. The lobster is pretty tempting. Decisions, decisions. What’s a girl to do. Ordered the Queen of the Nile necklace and earrings also. Hoping for a link bracelet to match. Think this color way is very wearable (casual or dressed up) and for any season too. They are my first scarab pieces. Hope they bring me luck.

I just know you will love the scarabs. I travel a fair bit and I never leave home on a trip without packing a Heidi scarab. They bring the best of luck and are great conversation pieces as well. The colorway on this version may well turn out to be my new fave scarab. Turquoise and tiger’s eye are beautiful together. I hope she does a bracelet and ring too.

Hi Girls!! I did break down and buy a few things this visit. I bought three sets of the Bar None birthstone necklace and earring set – one set for my SIL for Christmas (never too early to start buying for the holidays!!), and two for me, one in my August BS, and one in the clear. They are a good price point, and I think aren’t too dressy and will go with more outfits in my wardrobe. I wish she had done a matching line bracelet. I thought that might have been the TS – I’m not crazy about the one she’s doing this month.

I will tell all those who have wondered about Heidi’s customer service a story about my experience. I recently sent back three items for repair – two rings (one lost a crystal, and one lost a pearl), and one multi-strand necklace where one of the strands of crystals broke (my fault). I sent all three back with a note, and offered to pay for repairing the necklace, since that was my fault. I was able to send all the crystal beads back with the necklace.

Do you know that not only did I get all three items back WITHIN THREE DAYS REPAIRED, they were in boxes, and they didn’t charge me for repairing the necklace!! Now THAT’S what I call customer service!! If only other vendors would take lessons from Heidi’s team!!

So, if you ever have a piece that needs repair, do NOT hesitate to send it back to Heidi and her team for repair!!! They are just phenomenal!!!! :d/ =d>

Thanks, starel. I hope the bracelet will fit a really tiny (5″) wrist – I love Heidi’s bracelets but they’re always too big, even in her smallest sizes. Keeping my fingers crossed for this TS![-o< Would so love to have some magnificent HD cuffs and bracelets.
