EMMA SKAYE’S JEWELRY
I’m watching the Emma Skye TSV and lisyening to the designer speak of his limited number of setters, and polishers and other workers and that he comes from 3 generations of high-end gold jewelers—-you would expect products made in New York—-NOPE ——I just checked the details of the items and MADE IN CHINA !!!!! Now I know I’ve bought many things from HSN (and they are mostly made in Chiona—but I don’t like the sales presentation to imply something the product is not.

Be nice if HSN for one day present an all made in USA day

Looks nice though. I ordered. I liked especially the look where the bracelet and the necklace get attached to one another to form the longer necklace. I also think some pins might attach nicely to the buckle thing for some interesting effects. I also like that stainless steel does not tarnish or anything. I wonder if one could actually put it into the dishwasher… Not like I would… Just … wondering.

so sick of the China thing, I ordered this but I just might cancel it. I bet he makes all his high stuff there too.

Deceiving yes but! If it wasn’t made in China where I heard or read they work 24/7 for like 40cents an hour, if it were. Made here then imagine what the price would probably be. I’m all for USA made products, but those Chinese gotta eat too. I ordered it cause it looked so classy but the metal looked sort of dark & also I kept thinking about how affordable stately steel is priced. I’ll tell us one last thing, I do not for one second believe this 3rd generation from a fine jewelry lineage is PROUD like he says he is of this jewelry, nope nope nope! Many jewellers have been forced to lower their standards to stay alive in the market, meaning the price of precious metals specifically.

I just have to say that TSV looks like very nice taste. As long as the ‘Made in China’ is on the back…. LOL But seriously, isn’t it made of 100% steel (as Colleen would say haha). It’s gorgeous. Viva China! :womanlol:

I listened to that too and was very impressed w/what he was saying about his little factory, blah, blah, blah, thanks for informing us, I don’t do well with deceit. You caught me just in time, in the process of going to check his line out further, NOT!

wow…thanks for the updae Hart6370 of where this jewelry is made and to add misery to the subject, I ordered the TS too. Ugh! So everything made these days, the jobs are sent to China, the same China the U.S. is in so much debt too. I agree if this designer is giving a story out about his wonderful jewelry, why does he use craftsmen in China then….IT’S JUST DARN DECEIVING!
