wow. when i used to shop with qvc, the q allowed you to return all purchases from their “christmas in july” specials by january 31 of the following year. there was never a restriction to only a 30 day return period. have you double checked with hsn customer service??? it seems quite strange to me. i would double check, if i were you. oh, sigh.. xoxo

 hi ? i am so sorry that you  have some concerns.  $5000.00 is a lot of money to spend on gifts that may, or may not, be right and cannot be returned.

 i don’t know that much about christmas in july, specifically, at hsn, i just know that july was hsn’s birthday and they had great deals.  at some point they sold christmas related items, but i still don’t know if they honor returns until jan 31, 2017. for sure it would not be july 31, 2017, so there is a misunderstaing.  

when they sell in october those items have until january 31 to be returned. they know that people are really doing their holiday shopping and they make it easy on us. so sorry i don’t know about the sales of july 13.  i think they had specials and free shipping etc.

i send my sisters and friends in other states things all of the time and those items can be returned, too.  but only within the 30 day time frame.  they have a 30 day price guarantee and a 30 day return policy, even if a product is used. i ship them directly from hsn.  you have an option of doing that at checkout. they will include a gift receipt so they don’t know what you spent. hsn is really good about helping. you can call this number and they can help you. 1 800 284 5757.  i really hope this works out for you.
