Bracelets? Earrings? Necklaces?
What is your favorite piece of jewelry to wear? I used to never wear bracelets until a friend brought me back a bracelet from Austria. That opened the door to bracelets for me. Then Joan Boyce blew that door right off it’s hinges 🙂 I love blingy bracelets and matching rings. I still love earrings and necklaces but they are no longer my favorites. I have never been one for broaches and pins but I have noticed Heidi’s are very popular. A friend of mine told me you should never wear bracelets and necklaces and earrings and rings. . . choose 2 or 3 and leave it at that. I don’t listen very good because I still deck myself out in all 4 when the mood is on me.

Pamalou- I never leave home without earrings and at least one ring on each finger. Lately I am wearing Jay King rings. The necklaces and bracelets are displayed to look at until it’s time to go somewhere dressy or nice . I have only this past year become interested in pins and that is due to Heidi and her beautiful collectible pins. Now that winter is here I wear them on my coat . Since I’ve become a homebody I don’t wear necklaces as often as I would like. I feel nakked without earrings! # Sassy

I think it was Robert from Bellezza who said one time that if you want to be the center of attention at a party you can wear the whole ensemble. Like if it’s your birthday or you are the host. Otherwise you can tone it down.
Because wearing the matching pieces of necklace and earrings and bracelet will signal you are a woman of power. something like that.

Pamlou, the first thing I would like to say is – you should wear whatever you like, that is what is so great and fun about jewelry. People will tell you all sorts of things, but it is your decision to wear whatever makes you feel good.
My favorite has always been bracelets, followed by rings and then necklaces. I love both silver and gold, gemstones, nice patterns, whatever strikes me as being pretty and easy to wear.

I like to wear
it all. This is Heidi Daus Etoile Collection:heart:

In my youth I never left the house without earrings. It was like a must have.
These days I normally wear rings. When I work and I type with my hands I like to see bling when I look down.
But I own more necklaces than anything. I love to buy gem stones. I am well versed in the healing properties of gemstones. and I usually get a strand of gems that I can wear instead of just a piece of rock.
My favroties are pink gems, Rhodochrosite and Kunzite. and I have a couple of necklaces. Oh also Prehnite. They feed my soul. I wear them on special occasions or when I want to feel bullet proof.

i would have to say earrings- super long and bold are my fave. love it. xoxo

I Love it all, and my new passion is colored diamonds. I just ordered a small heart ring here at HSN. Not sure about the quality, it was presented by a blonde lady who is the vender that offers many of the colored diamonds. Does anyone have her jewelry?

I just flat out love jewelry.:womanhappy:I always wear 1 of my wedding sets,a bangle bracelet, sometimes with adjustable bracelet of same stone. that matches my rings ,which I usually wear 3 and match their color with shirt I am wearing..Or often just a simple adjustable bracelet if that seems better than a bangle.
Then I add 2 to 2/12 inch long dangle earrings.Nothing chunky,just simple gold or silver chains.Plus a 36 inch necklace with a small pendent on it.Then my watch,of course…
I always get compliments on my jewelry so I guess it is not too much for most.It pleases me,so I figure that is what counts.:womanwink:..I do tend to like my jewelry to match in color but I often mix gold, silver and stainless steel according to where I am going.

If I have to pick one – necklaces would be my choice, earrings second , bracelets third.
I like rings also.
I wear my “jewels” everytime I go anywhere

I love all jewelry, but especially rings. I always have a necklace on, usually Our Lady. I always have wedding rings on, but have a few sets because we updated over the years. I usually add earrings if I am going out, and bracelets less so although I do wear them.

Pamlou, yes, yes and yes!!! I love jewelry and would never leave the house without it. My sister is 12 years older than I am and you’d never believe we came from the same parents. She wears her “special jewelry” only when going to a wedding or some place fancy. My philosophy is, I am not walking the red carpet 99% of the time, so I am going to wear anything I want at any time. I can’t begin to tell you how many compliments I get on my jewelry. I even stopped wearing my wedding set all the time so I could wear different rings. I always put the ring that looks more like a wedding band on my left hand. She has a gold very wide bangle with diamonds running in a line down it and she’s never worn it in the 8 years she’s had it. I have no idea when she will feel there’s an appropriate place to wear it. I even wear jewelry with a bathing suit. I certainly don’t NEED more jewelry but I don’t feel so guilty buying it because I know it can be passed down (my excess amount of clothing is a totally different story). I do have my go to favorite pieces (diamond puffed heart necklace, John Hardy and David Yurman bracelets, a designer watch) but I rotate my rings and earrings a lot. I agree with you that I don’t agree with your friend. I wear it all without looking like I piled on the kitchen sink. It all depends how you present yourself… and I DO love jewelry!!!

I wear jewelry every day. I always have earrings, a bracelet and rings on and at least 4 out of 7 days also have on a necklace.

Hi, Pammy! Another great Thread, lass! I think for most of us here, our Wedding Ring is the one-and-only true staple… a married woman just feels naked without it.
For schlepping around town, my new favourites are a Pearl Necklace & Earrings I bought a couple months ago… they look great with Jeans/Leggings and a Blouse/Sweater/Sweatshirt. Sometimes I don’t wear the Necklace, but, ALWAYS the Earrings. In fact, I would say that, other than my Wedding Ring, Earrings are the only other absolute piece of Jewelry I wear.
However, when going out with my husband, I’m all decked-out… usually in Heidi Daus… LOVE that Bling! I would say that out of all of Heidi’s pieces I own, her ‘Tailored To Please’ suite is my favourite. I got both the Smoky and Montana Blue plus the matching Rings, (the Montana being my favourite). Sometimes I wear the whole suite, other times a piece or two. As for matchy-matchy… who cares what others think/say? Classy and Tailored is my style… not trendy.
The other night my husband took me out. I wore this—> Slinky Sparkle Blouse, Slinky Faux Suede Pants, Heidi Smoky suite, (but not the Bracelet), Curations Fringe Jacket, Sporto Boots, and Relic Handbag.
How’s that for ‘matchy-matchy’? *lol*

I wear everything, but never leave the house without earrings and a necklace, but I equally love everything, rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces. Whats not to love when it comes to jewelry?

I wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t’ say my wedding ring wasn’t my favorite. Next to that it would be earrings. They’re a must because they become part of my face. I have no problem with wearing rings, earrings, bracelets, and necklaces all at once.
