Throw it ALL away?? Nope. Can’t do it. Some things are irreplaceable!
Keep EVERYTHING?? Like trash?? Nope. Can’t do it. That’s nasty!

I like all my ‘stuff’, so, choose to KEEP it.

Good timing with this question, Adam. We’re moving soon, and at this point, I’d rather throw it all away towards someone else who can use it than have to haul it to another location. It’s amazing how many things you can accumulate in 20 yrs., and half of it you don’t really need. The exception being my many purchases from HSN, such as kitchen helpers, Joy’s jewelry keepers, and my huggable hangers. They’re coming with me wherever I go.

WHILE THROWING AWAY IS PAINFULL …KEEPING WAY TOO MUCH CLUTTER!!!

my first instinct says, keep everything. you never know when you might need it. OR, yet again, just as easily, throw it away. especially, when your “rainy day” stash gets way too big and you get to the point where you just can’t stand looking at it anymore. oh, the dilemmas of life. sigh… xoxo

? ok, this is personal. i keep EVERYTHING…at least for a while. i have just about everything a person needs to borrow, use, or laugh at and ask me the ever painful query “why are you saving THIS?” my always ready aswer, “because i might need it.”
the amazing thing is that i always need whatever “it” is. neighbors always need whatever “it” is, friends always need whatever “it” is…anyway, you get it. also, i have a strange memory about where “it” all is. and yes, everything is in labeled, organized, plastic bins. i know….it’s a blessing, and a curse.:cattongue:

Because I liked it in the first place, I’d rather keep all of it, even if I haven’t used it in a long time… if ever. If I do give it away, then shortly after I find I really need it. I’m not a hoarder, but I do have a lot of stuff that is well organized.
A while back, I was getting rid of extra tools I thought I really didn’t need, such as really really long screwdrivers of all size heads. No one had a use for them, so I still have them. Not long after, my large air pruifier started acting up, so I opened it and found the screws that hold it all together are recessed deep inside the unit. So, I got out my long screwdrivers and was able to proceed to fix, which I did, and it now works perfectly. Needless to say, I’m keeping them. Years ago, people always said I should start a business as a HandyLady.
