Who’s Your Favorite HSN Host
Lately, there’s been so many negative threads about HSN hosts either criticizing, complaining, or pointing out their flaws. I thought it was time for a positive thread.
Instead of pointing out the negatives, lets share the positives on our favorite Host(s). It’s time to give them some accolades for their hard work and commitment.
For me Colleen is a long time favorite, she’s so professional and always so thorough in her presentations. She’s stylish and classic! I enjoy her segments very much and always gets my full attention.
Of course all hosts have their own unique magic, but another one of my faves is Brett. Always very respectful and whimsical. His voice is very soothing and always describes products in a very knowledgeable manner. He really comes across very humble and genuine!
So there you go, my favorites and why they are special to me. Now go ahead and share your favorites and why. Let’s keep this thread positive and friendly! 🙂

I really miss Bill with all his knowledge and class..
I love Tamara..who we don’t see enough of !
She’s classy,she knows her stuff…
I’ve never heard her yell..” hurry..buy it now before it sells out!”
They want you to buy while they are presenting to boost their own sales..I’m sure..
I prefer buying from someone more laid back..
I also think Robin is a breath of fresh air..sometimes a little kooky but cute!
We all need a little “silly” now and then.

I like Shivan a lot, but I do not get to c her often enough!

I love Marlo because she is so cute and very knowledgeable.

I forgot another favorite of mine is Robin Wall. I especially like her with the coin guy, Mike Mezack. Robin is funny and I can only imagine if you put her on air with Helen.

Wow, it seems we have a concensus here and I tend to agree mostly. My absolute favorite is Helen Keaney. How can anyone, except someone with no sense of humor, not enjoy her. As many have already stated, I watch her every early morning she is on. Never miss because I know I’ll get a free comedy routine and a lot of laughs. Agree Colleen is about as professional as they come and I love her with Robert Mancse of Balie Designs. They are a HOOT together. Suzanne is another fave for her down to earth and totally relaxed demeanor. I’d buy anything from her because I trust what she’s saying. Love Connie and Adam. And Tamara. I think she is beautiful with the long hair and I enjoy her presentations. And, Bill Green was one of the best. He was always dressed impeccably so it was fun waiting to see what he would wear. The newbies, Geoff, Valerie (really good) and Tracey seem ok but I have never been able to stomach the 2nd Shannon who started 2 years ago. I thought she would be let go way back because she was so awful on air. I’m just extremely happy that she’s not doing 10 Faves anymore as I prefer Tamara and Helen. I’m glad to see Anji doing Professor Amos as I thought she was one of the best ever as a host but she moved on.

? i will let you know how i like them. the nice thing is that they have a little light in them that comes on when they are grinding…..so if the lights go out , i have light…… and then i have a nice little trail of salt/pepper/spice of where i have been and how to get back.:cattongue: now that’s a selling point. it’s ok shannon, you can use that one on-air if you want
? i totally agree with you. very, very difficult job to do.

Bill Green
I miss him.
He presents products in detail, with humour, and wit.

I just think It’s a difficult job. You (hosts) have to prep on every item, even those you’re not “over the top” about–then present with total enthusiasm. Yes, folks (viewers), You might not think a big deal unless u did it every day, year after year. I give them all 5 stars just for accomplishing that enormous task. I think they all do a difficult job well. (Me-Doctorate in management, consultant in policing and Iraq). Carry on! Love the products and enjoy informative presentations!

When I tune in to HSN, I actually don’t mind any of them. I think they do a great job considering everything.

? yeah, shannon has kind of a maya rudolph-esque-ness about her. maya’s mom was minnie ripperton. five octave vocal range, and the whistle-register  ( you probably already know that :catwink:)
anyway, i thought shannon was cute doing the show with the automatic shakers. i bought the two pack!

Colleen is a pro and I’d definitely rate her number 1. Suzanne is just so much fun and is amazing with Diane Gilman. Bobbie is a real pro too. Like everyone here, I miss Bill. He had it all as a host.
