Where is Iman?
During birthday bash I saw her listed on the schedule several times, but she was never on. I think they did her pants one time, but that was pretty much it. When will she be on again? Is everything ok with her?

Be sure to tune in on August 24th for a day with IMAN, honulady. I am sure it will be worth the wait!

Thank you so much. I will certainly tune in!!

I am just asking, how do you know that the body can only absorb up to 10 grams of protein at a time, and how do you know that protein turns to glucose? I was not aware of that and would like to read your source information. Thanks.

Not to be argumentative, but that just isn’t true.

Body can absorb 25-30 grams of protein at one meal.
But how much protein you need is a different question and the answer is….it depends on your body weight and activity level. The Institute of Medicine provides this formula:
0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight.
To get your weight in kilograms, divide pounds by 2.2. Example — if you weigh 120 pounds, divide your weight by 2.2 = 54 kilograms.
Next, multiply 54 kilograms x 0.8 = 43 grams of protein needed to meet your daily requirement.
Harvard University Health Services recommends 1.2 to 1.4 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight for endurance athletes and 1.6 to 1.7 grams/kilogram if you regularly perform strength-training exercises.
