With a SALUTE to the best
country on earth!
Happy 4th everyone.

We go to a lake here in Fl. Family, friends, everyone brings something and my husband cooks on the grill (he is the master griller) Then we watch fireworks on the lake. There is nothing like seeing the firework’s reflection on the water. Happy 4th to all !!!!!!!!

The old fashioned way with mom, dad, and apple pie. Family reunion at a local park with hot dogs and burgers on the grill and everyone bringing a covered dish to pass.:womanhappy:

This is easy! I celebrate with cake and ice cream and candles among my family because the Fourth of July is also my birthday! :smileyvery-happy:

This year I am spending a fun time with my family watching the Durham Bulls play baseball..while also having my HSN app open to the Monday Night Show!

The Beach area and fireworks.
At my last house, we could go upstairs to the bathroom, bring in a few chairs and watch from the window. It was fun and no traffic!
Have a great 4th!

Relaxing with family and friends. Grilling out, and enjoying time with others and showing patiotism and honoring military personnel.
Have family time, enjoying parades, and coming together in community.

We have a wonderful parade in our home town! We pull up a piece of curb and watch it every year. It’s even more special now that my son’s pizza place will be opening to serve slices this 4th of July to those who want to munch during or after the parade. Our parade includes high school and military bands. Great community floats from dance companies, churches, and theater. It lasts more than several hours. You always see friends along the way!! The community spirit is incredible.
After the parade, we go over to my MIL’s house to celebrate some more with good food and company! Fireworks are banned in our town, so we watch the firework celebrations from San Francisco and New York on TV. Love the Boston Pops too, as well as the celebration from Wahington DC!!

my favorite way to celebrate the Fourth of July is with the people that make me smile. they can be family or not, as long as everyone smiles together while enjoying fireworks!

Happy Monday Night everybody:)
Good luck and May God Bless:)

One memorable 4th of July was when we witnessed a Naturalization Ceremony. One of our friends, and dozens of other people from many countries and walks of life, took the Oath of Allegiance and became US citizens before our very eyes! It was a proud moment for everyone there. Our friend still speaks with a British accent though… :womanhappy:

BY STAYING HOME & HIBERNATING. TOO MANY CROWDS, TOO MUCH TRAFFIC, TOO MUCH HEAT (USUALLY). CAN YOU TELL I’M GETTING OLDER (HOPEFULLY WISER). I DO MISS SEEING FIREWORKS, BUT THE LAST TIME I WENT SOMEWHERE TO SEE THEM, IT JUST WASN’T WORTH IT! SIGNED, ‘OL LADY. HA HA
