What’s your favorite way to celebrate the 4th of July?

Yes, so far I’ve been pleased with HSN, But I have been careful.

I purchased several of the angel wraps, throws, blankets, sheets.  – No noticeable problems.

Family, Friends, Fireworks, Fun…

These days I am happy just to be at home safe and quiet.(cause I am old now) When I was younger I always did something different each year.  Go to fireworks display, camping, picnics, BBQ’s,gathering at friends homes or having a party at my house. I enjoyed it all. The very thing that makes America so great, to have the freedom to choose…Happy 4th of July to all!:heart::womanvery-happy:

It’s my birthday!  The day is filled with sun,water, fun, great food, fireworks and of course birthday cake.

No, I’m not fibbing, I seriously love to visit them and join in their rural PA 4th of July celebrations. There’s a 5K run first thing in the morning, fishing competition for the kids, bingo, marching bands, arts and crafts, classic car show, popcorn, funnel cakes, hot dogs, and finally an Old Town parade with candy throwing to the kids and a big firework display.  All American – What more could you ask for!!  Love it all!

We have a familey reuion ever year and ride the boat and vist each other Been doing it ever since I was a kid Love my familey and it is good to see them.we all live in diffrent places and we have been loseing some so It is aways good to see everyone that is still hear and the food is great.an celebrate one of them Birthday.watching the Fire works form the boat.Loving the familey

MY MOST FAVORITE WAY OF CELEBRATING THE 4TH IS WEARING

RED, WHITE AND BLUE!!! IT’S NOT A REQUIREMENT, BUT MOST WHO ATTEND WEAR AT LEAST ONE OF THE COLORS!! FAMILY AND FRIENDS COME.  OF COURSE, WE GRILL OUT WITH

RIBS, SAUSAGES, BURGERS, HOTDOGS, STEAKS AND VEGGIES!

WE ALWAYS FRY FISH AS WELL!!!! EACH LADY BRINGS A DISH TO HELP OUT THE HOSTESS!!! THIS IS PREARRANGED A COUPLE OF WEEKS IN ADVANCE!!!

THERE IS MUSIC…MOSTLY OLD SCHOOL!!! THE YOUNG PEOLPLE HAVE THEIR HEADPHONES AND CELL PHONES NOW. WE PLAY GAMES SUCH AS HORSESHOES, BADMITTEN, DODGEBALL, KICK BALL AND CARD GAMES!!!

WE HAVE A WATER SLIDE FOR THE KIDS AND OTHER THINGS TO KEEP THEM OCCUPIED AND HAPPY. WE HAVE ALL KINDS OF BEVERAGES, HARD AND SOFT!!!! LOL!!! FIREWORKS ALWAYS COMPLETE THE EVENING AND ITS VERY EXCITING FOR EVERYONE!

HERE’S WISHING EVERYONE A FANTASTIC, SAFE AND HAPPY 4TH.

My family loves to celebrate the 4th of July.  We start on Friday.  The entire family comes over and we all load up and go to the cemeteries which have the family-War veterans at rest.  We visit each cemeteries hold hands, honor them (my father, father-in-law, uncles, etc. all of them that served our country) pray, sing (God Bless America) and place a flag on graves.  Then we all load up and go to our lake house.  It is absolutely so beautiful there.  We will go boating, grill, sing, go on nature trails, cook/eat, tell stories, laugh, cry, pop fireworks over the lake, have arts and crafts for the children/grandchildren.  Then on Monday, July 4th we all wear red, white and blue attire.  The adults will tell the history to the children of the 4th of July….Declaration of Independence.  Then the day is full of activities.  We also invite many friends.  Our lake house has the bedrooms to board all.  It is one of the BEST HOLIDAY’S to celebrate.  And the children will NEVER FORGET THIS IN THEIR LIVES!

My favorite way to celebrate the 4th of July is spending time with my family, friends, and loved ones; barbecuing; having fun together and late in the evening watching the fireworks.

Like everyone … always with Family & Friends (and my famous PUB burgers 🙂 ) …. but my truly favorite way to celebrate would be to go back in time when every 4th, my little brother and I

got brand new cap guns and holsters !  Remember these ? 🙂
