The possibility of running into your 69 year old ex husband and his new 28 year old girlfriend. Always a thrill to see him especially during the holidays!
-
The worst thing is having to carry all your bags around,
sweating to death, while everyone coughs and sneezes
on you spreading all their germs.
Low and behold you end up sick with a cold
or the flu.
No thanks!

Other than parking I like going to the mall. during the holidays. I love seeing the decorations, shopping with live music in the background. Power Christmas shopping really helps get me in the holiday spirit!

In a word…..PARKING!!

Hi Adam,
The crowds of people struggling to get what you want before they run out:)
People can be very rude and noisy and the crowds I cannot stand:)
That is the worst thing about Holiday shooping:)
Thank you for asking:)
Good luck everyone:)

“RUDE PEOPLE!” PLEASE PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN & PAY ATTENTION!!!!!!! It could not be that important!!! :-O

The worst part of holiday shopping at the mall is NO PARKING. Then, when you finally find a spot and tackle the crowds in the mall, you come out and can’t remember where you parked your car while your packages are weighing you down!

The waiting to see the smiles on the grandchildren faces! All their excitement when the kids open their gifts
-
People…parking…PEOPLE…retailers that jam racks and aisles, making it almost unshopable…PEOPLE…stores that are wholly understaffed to get you promptly checked out (for gosh sakes…I just want to hand over my money for products and it’s like they make it difficult to do)…and trying to find someone to help (good luck). Thank goodness I don’t have to shop for others anymore…I really shop for myself!

The worst things about Mall shopping are the crowds and the parking!
It is nearly impossible to find a parking spot anywhere near an entrance, and in OHIO where the weather is freezing, snowing, who wants to walk a mile just to get inside?
No thank you, I will, and have done, my shopping online, and lots through HSN.
It’s fun and much warmer to wait inside my house for UPS to deliver what I ordered, and lastly, it’s so easy to find what I want online!!
-
I haven’t shopped at a mall in years. For that matter, I don’t shop at big box stores very much either. I  online shopping! I get overwhelmed with all the choices at brick and mortar stores. Plus, I always take too long shopping & then I get hungry & have to stop & eat, which adds to the time & cost.:smileyfrustrated: (The exception is that I like to shop every now & then at my favorite local small businesses; not only to give them patronage, but because of the unique items and personalized service.)
I like being able to “favorite” things online & know when they drop in price or are getting ready to sell out.
Thank goodness for shopping online!!

The worst part of mall shopping is parking lots and crowds. You first have to negotiate the parking lot to find a place to park that is not too far from an entrance and is well lit, if you are going to be there predawn or after dark. You never know who is lurking about waiting to steal your purchases or worse.
After you have parked then you have to negotiate your way around the whole mall battling the crowds every step of the way.
Finally after purchasing everything you must venture back out into the parking lot. That is if you remember where you actually parked your car. I learned to take a picture of the parking area section row sign after I spent a lot of time looking for my car 1 section over from where I actually parked. It was very cold, snowy and windy that day.
I would much rather shop from home on my couch dressed in pj’s or sweats sipping on my coffee and shopping HSN.

Hello Adam!
Thank you for this opportunity to share.
I think the worst thing about holiday shopping is the long lines! That’s why I love home shopping, because I don’t have to wait in that long line. When I’m done I just head to check out pay my bill and wait for someone to bring it to me or ship it directly to the person I’m buy for. Easy peasy! So the worst thing about holiday shopping is the best thing about home shopping. Happy holiday’s Adam!
