“Be aloof.”
Actually, I think she’s regretting that one now.
Tell you what, let’s go with this one instead:
“A man is not dressed without a belt.”
Yeah, the belt thing.

My Mom always said TELL THE TRUTH ALWAYS cause if you do something wrong and lie about it You’ll be in double trouble.
so I always try to be honest and past that advice to my son which seems to work well there I THINK!

My mother told me many times to look for the bright side in every situation…that while everyday may not be GOOD, to look for something GOOD everyday. As I have grown older, I realize how much courage and strength she possessed. Unfortunately, she passed away from cancer when I was ten, but I still find comfort in her strength and positivity. She led by example, and I have had a good life…always looking for good things!

My mom died when I was fairly young so I didn’t have enough time to get many words of advice but I’ve actually got two things that has been the best ever advice I could ever get from any one. It’s life advice for a female 1) don’t ever shave your legs. My hair is blonde, I will admit I did it anyway just because I thought how gross not to shave your legs I only did it a few times. I am nearly 55 yrs old and do have hair on my legs but it’s so blonde and short you would never, ever know there is a drop of hair. It’s like small blonde hair on your arm or hand. Can’t even tell. No one believes me that I don’t shave my legs, even when wearing shorts. Since that one may not be advisable to read on the air, I’ve got another one that is even better. My mother told me when I was about 11 years old to start using face cream every day, which I did, I am nearly 55 and don’t have 1 wrinkle. I’m not sure if it’s good genes or the face cream but I don’t look a day over 30 I’d love to think it’s mom’s advice.
