What’s the best advice your Mom ever gave you?

Thankful for what u have and thankful for what u don’t have

Always leave the house in clean underwear!  I used to think she was crazy until I ended up at the emergency room after an auto accident!

When she is watching hsn she tells me to call up and order the item

Don’t let your kids eat in front of the tv!  Families should eat together around the table.  :womanhappy:

Well My Mothers advice to me after tracking her down for 18 years was: Stay in your own life.  So by being a skip-out Mother , I learned to survive

My Mother said to always know what my checking account balance is and to never write a check for insufficient funds.  She worked at the bank so I followed her advice. 

My mother always told me that if you don’t have anything nice to say then keep your mouth shut.

After my mom was diagnosed with cancer and her time was limited, I remember a heartwarming moment which is etched forever in my heart. She stroked my hair and said “Always remember you are beautiful and loved. Spoil yourself now and then. Never with guilt, always with excitement.”
