oh, i forgot one.  jennifer from ssc always says that the cream will make your skin “taunt” instead of the correct word, “taut.”  omg! she’s in skin care!!!!! how can she make this mistake?  it drives me crazy!!!!

The lady from Prai was presenting the TS, throat and neck cream and was showing how taut her neck was. We know most people in the public eye have had face, eye, brow, and neck lifts, not to mention Botox. None of them have a wrinkle to be seen.

That’s all well and good, but don’t tell people they will get the same resuts with a cream. They won’t unless the cream has magical properties to make skin shrink back to when one was twenty years old. It doesn’t. Cream will soften and lessen wrinkles. It won’t make them disappear.

I said to myself, if I had the $$ for all that work on my face, my neck would be taut too.

Another line I am tired of “stay in the ordering process as we are counting you, and will be sold out!” Then on the next show, there it is again!  Just cracks me up!  LOL

Yes, it is!  And why is her “book” so much more expensive than other lines?  i can’t see anything more special about it than others!

Shannon also needs to quit wearing that dark eye shadow up by her front eye brow!  Makes her look older and gives her a puppy dog effect!  I like her, but she does need some make-up instruction!  I am also so sick of the love, love, love and other phrases they use. they are soooo old!!  and the hype they give to EVERY product!  i really don’t know how they do it.  But all the hosts on the other TV shopping channels do the same thing!

I love when a showhost says “This is the only time HSN will present this product for odering. You will never see it again on HSN.”

To which I think, “Yeah right, and then I am sure I can get it elsewhere if i need it.

Just joking, but they do crack me up sometimes.

“This product is so limited that with those in the ordering process an the small amount we have in stock, it will sell out this hour.” Yup. And I have a bridge.

And then the oohing and aahing. So fake sometimes. Ladies, take acting classes.

To the hosts, I say this with love. You guys have to do what you have to do.

I don’t watch all that often, but sometimes you guys really crack me up. Not an easy job for sure. I watch with wonderment sometimes, watching them talk without stuttering, without any umms or silences. Not an easy feat. As one person said, their mouths and hands are going a mile a minute.

My biggest pet peeve – I use this all the time at home and can honestly say it’s the best.  Come On – do the Hosts really own every single product on HSN!  How can they say one day this is the best facial cream – wouldn’t be without it and a few days later there is another product they use at home that is also the very best.  If what they are saying is true, most of the hosts would be putting on dozen of day and night creams and potions every single day!

i love this thread.  also, when they say “look at this” they actually say “ohhhh look-it”!!!!! my other pet peeves are “just swap it out!”  “just switch it out!!” and, not to mention the old and so  very, very tired  “wow, that really makes it pop!” 

the funny thing is….i actually do have a “gift closet.”  i have found so many great items on sale at hsn that i have created one.  it’s pretty cool and comes in handy.

but in keeping with the humor of the thread, here goes: “oh! look-it body wash on sale! i was really wanting that for my gift closet.  i think my friends are needing something like this.  oh! and you know what?… as do i. that will really take our skin to a whole new level.  i can grab this scarf that’s on clearance, too. that will really make the outfit pop.  after the gift closet is empty, i’ll stay in the ordering process to buy more items and just swap things out!”

I have a gift closet, but every gift in the closet is filled with gifts for myself  :womanlol:  Hey, we deserve it too. :womanwink:  Have a  beautiful day :heart:

The only thing that really bothers me is when they talk about buying an item and putting it in my gift closet.I have never had 1:womansurprised: and wonder why my mama never told me I would need one.LOL.:smileylol::smileylol:

In general all the threats, the “and again”s, the “we’re GIING you such and such FOR FREE”s, and worst of all for me is the “sing talking”. OMG! That really works my nerves. I had stopped watching for quite a long while. One night I couldn’t find anything on TV so I flipped on HSN. After just a short minute I hit the mute button. Well that turned it into a comedy. The host’s hands and mouth were going a mile a minute! lol That’s the only way I watch it now. If I see something I am interested in I read about it online. Works for me :smileyvery-happy:

Tamrick, Hi!  Yunz is from here in good ole Pennsylvania! And no, I don’t even notice when people say it, I grew up with it!  How YINZ doin’ haha

I REALLY wish the hosts and vendors would stop using “guys” as an all purpose word.  It sounds so tacky and overly casual.  We are not all ‘guys.’ 

I have kept all my HSN go to shoes by the door so I could go to the mailbox and  walk the dog.      

  It is all because I stayed in the ordering process.    :smileylol:
