TO: Shannon Smith

Sorry you find Shannon "annoying" there are hundreds of other channels on TV. I am very sure that there are people Around you that find you to be a total annoyance. Shannon works hard as the entire host team does to do their job of bring products onto TV So we can sit back and purchase if we wish. I would challenge you to even attempt the job of Host.

Shannon may be many things, first she is a hard working kind hearted human being. Sorry that you find he to be "annoying" there are hundreds of other channels for you to watch. To bash Shannon when you have not walked in her shoes is ludicrous. It’s good to know that you have such a high opinion of yourself just be careful as that can only mean you have much farther to fall off your pedestal. Have a good day. 🙂

TALK ABOUT ANNOYING!!  She needs to react to things in a more realistic way.  I think she needs to tape herself and then watch herself so that she can see how grating she is.  She would probably be very embarrassed if she knew what she sounded like.

I really like Rick, even though he is hyper. Think he is a hoot most of the time.

I have a sense of humor–THESE POST on barking, county fairs , waving arms have me in stitches.

Sadly I LOVE THESE POST—-We could all get in a car and drive around and laugh. It never angers me or causes me to dislike as I find it funny. OR I TURN THE CHANNEL—-I  have not bought due to a host but have later on blamed the host for the over the top description-

Don’t get me wrong, I like Rick.  But I don’t think I’ve ever seen him calmly present Anything.

I think Rick does an Excellent job. Yes, he is enthused and excited, but he calmly gives the information. He  methodically  talks to the electronics person about the features of the product. He  shows the item in detail and goes step by step with the expert… asking the expert questions about the item and inviing him to go over certain features.

A few days ago I saw Shannon and Joe present a hp touchscreen laptop. That same day I saw some of qvc host present a comparable low  to mid range computer. Tonight I saw a third network present a similarl laptop. … Every Channel is different and you can’t really compare them.  But the Contrast was obvious. HSN hosts and ‘experts’ should watch other networks’ electronics presentation.

Both of the other  channels presented their laptop in an upbeat, yet calm and informative manner. They talked to the viewers in an honest and believabe manner.

 And then there was Shannon. Her presentation was as usual, giving speeches At the viewers, barking like a barker at old-fashioned county fairs or like the barkers of freak show circuses , seen in old movies. Phony!  – When Joe was playing with the touchscreen, she was  ‘Ooooing and  Wowing’ continuously, over a simple everday touchscreen . It was comical but pathetic. That kind of salesmanship went out of style years ago.  People no longer take it seriously. … Have some Class!

Shannon, NO WAY!!!  I like when she is on!  Great voice and very "good looking Normal" kind of way.  The one that drives me crazy is Marla. She doesn’t stop talking long enough to hear the product description.  Maybe your Mailman, your mother-in-law, maybe the kid that shovels your snow, on and on and on.  How about your parol officer….I haven’t heard that one yet.  LOL

I like Shannon alot, nuf said!!

I am more apt to watch Lynn as she adds a reality I like- I never really depend on anyone to sale me anything I am an ok judge of the product.

LET THE SHOW GO ON—–BB

If you listen carefully to the hosts you can "see" hovv they are selling their backsides off…..some are more obvious and NOT believable than others…..vve end up feeling "used" and "stupid" as if vve are all that gullable……at least I do at times. I knovv it’s their job to sell….but as vvith shannon she’s one of those…..I agree…..the softer sell sits best vvith me. I like to decide about an item after hearing the details….don’t do a hard sell or I’m really put off…..like they don’t really "care". If they knovv vvhat a consumer feels like…..?? Just saying…..agi

It’s not just Shannon that seems pushy to sell the product, but mostly all the show hosts all do this. I’ve noticed they all say, this item will likely sell out in this airing, and i don’t know if we will get any back in stock. So I urge you to call now, so you don’t miss out. Me personally, I like Shannon, she’s always perky and upbeat. I rember the old hosts back in the 80’s and 90’s, and some were boring!!!

Shannon–sometimes I laugh when I hear u at midnight say nhow u don’t think this will last this airing–so hurry up & buy this before it sells out–and then in the next morning-afternoon & nite time the item is STILL available–I wish u wouldn’t SELL SELL SELL–just explain the item & move on–it’s annoying to ALWAYS stress the fact that "will sell out in this airing"–especially when it dosen’t!!–that’s the reason why I don’t watch u–I turn the channel!!!!

You cannot be serious ? Why not enjoy the freedome and do so in a fun way I see no joy in your post or in you period.
