We asked: How do you cozy up for the holidays?

You answered: I love to have the lights off and have all the lit decorations on and the tree lit – I’m a sucker for decorations that light.  I have the fire going in the fireplace and the Christmas music station playing on the radio. I browse HSN on my tablet while sipping hot chocolate with tons of whipped cream.  If there’s a Christmas show on tv, I’ll put that on.  Then my husband comes home, shuts the radio off, turns off some of the twinkling decorations, and puts a homicide cop show on tv – ugh.  I guess that’s why they say opposites attract.

You answered: The “Parking Lot Stalkers”.   The creepy shoppers who follow you as you are walking down the parking lanes, as they go very, very slowly behind you, assuming you are going to your car and leaving.     I especially love it, when I am only going to put packages into the trunk, to then go back and shop some more.

We asked: How will you freshen up your home for fall? 

You answered: I’ll change my closet out first and put away the sleeveless outfits and shorts . Move the winter clothes forward front and center . For decorating I will pick up a couple of bales of hay, add a pumpkin or two and some corn stalks for the porch. I’ll set out Halloween decorations and fall decorations collected over the years throughout the house . I love for the house to smell like cinnamon and pumpkin spice . Change the duvets to a fall Decor. For my clothes I will Get out all my Heidi Halloween brooches and necklaces and fall pins to wear on my clothes . The grandkids love that .

You answered: Hi Adam! When I was in 2nd grade, my dad took me to my elementary school’s Father Daughter Valentine’s Day Dance. There was a photographer waiting for us when we entered the gymnasium dressed up in our Sunday clothes. After having our photo snapped, I ran to find my little friends, showed off my daddy, and danced the night away! It is, by far, my fondest school memory.

You answered:A pre-k student using my beige sweater as a coloring book. I was working with another student as the time and finally felt a tug on my left arm. He was behind me using a black marker drawing lines on me. I was determined to get the stains out as I worn this sweater to my daughter’s outdoor wedding.
