Poor Shannon..Always someone dissing on Shannon on a regular basics..I think she is just perky and gets excited..and some viewers probably enjoy that..But I think there are a lot of viewers that really like her too..Apparently she does well as a host or she wouldn’t still be employed at HSN.

? ? shannon was in radio and has been a host for a while. she has time slots with big vendors.  i think that she is probably the most successful salesperson that hsn has. i guess it all just “works.”  in other words, she is the big kahuna at hsn.:cattongue: sorry, i couldn’t resist again.

sharon, i thought that beauty was a bengal!!! i saw a show with the cat guru, jackson galaxy, and he had to teach the owners to walk their bengal on a leash because bengals need exercise and they need to experience their environments.  they talked about “generations.”  amazing animals! just beautiful!!!

do you agree with the walking advice? we are in the process of making more “catifications” for our group. some designs are very artsy. we’ll just go with several more linking climbers.  thor is a LOVE. you are right, he’s very dog-like. :catvery-happy: :heart:

Does anybody remember the host that called their husband “The Big Kahuna’.  I think it mght have been the other long running channel.  It killed me that she called her husband that name probably more than Shannon uses the term!

? i don’t think that i have ever seen that host, but eeeewwwww! there has to be a better nickname.  but didn’t they use that term in the old surfer movies with annette and frankie?  didn’t they refer to the old, execellent surfer as “the big kahuna?” i think it’s a hawaiian term. if i think about it that way, it’s not so bad.:catvery-happy:

She uses so many cliched phrases, I lost count.  She comes across as a hack.  I don’t know how anyone can take her seriously.

I enjoy Shannon.  She is a mainstay on HSN.  She loves to do the cooking shows and very much enjoy her doing them.  I am not into the makeup shows but may not just be your cup of tea.  I like seeing a familer  face on HSN.

? i love my big guy, thor.  here’s the best part.  he and his four sisters were abandoned by their semi-feral mother when they were four weeks old. they were all just screaming and fussing in my neighbor’s yard.  i took them all and bottle fed them for weeks.  i found homes for them all, but i just had to keep my big guy.  i eventually found the mom, got her fixed, and now she is a mouser on a farm. some stories have a happy ending. :heart:
