Good point! I feel it should be the magnetic strip that is best to protect in the sleeve. Since info is embedded within this strip. Your exp # is likely not digitally encrypted.  Anyway, a point to add that makes sense to know about protecting credit card info on a strip is the room key in hotels. Whether true or not, not a bad idea to never leave that “card key” behind just in case!  Just take with you and cut up when get home.  Won’t hurt anything to be safer than sorry!

Oh, wow .  Glad they were able to track down who took your money.  I’m assuming that the bank had to restore your funds.

What made me question the wallet protection for those cards that can be read by people nearby is that you have to pull your card out to use it.  So whenever you use your card, it wouldn’t be protected anyway, even if those RFID protectors work. Or am I missing something?

I get nervous about those attachments to the gas pumps and ATM’s too.  You really have to check your bank balances and credit card statements carefully.

Oops spell check, mine do not have the RFID wave on them, if I get any that do in the future then I will make sure that part of the card is the part not sticking out. Thanks again!

Oh wow, I did not know the cards have aRFID Eve on them. Mine has the chip, I just thought they can get info from all cards. The bar I meant was the one you swipe in the machine. Thank you for your response.

If by swipe bar you mean the magnetic strip, that isn’t RFID. Are you sure you have RFID cards? Do they have a wave symbol on them?
