On air and show suggestions
Post your ideas for On Air and TV Show suggestions here:
-
– Cut down on the lenght of the TS segments. We don’t need it for at least 30 mimutes every hour. Waste of time.
– Offer more often free shipping, instead of the “buy more save more”. I’m positive the orders would increase in number & amount.
– Stop having the host repeating fifty times the same things during a show ie “use your Hsn card…, buy more save more…,flex pay…, by now everyone knows about it. Instead utilize the air time with more useful info on the products you are trying to sell. -
I see a lot of negative comments about Jo Mangano. Hangers may not be as attractive as clothing or jewelry but, at least, she is pleasant and polite. Talk about rude, obnoxious and annoying Stephani Greenfield from Curations. Get her and her line out.
I believe most of the hostesses do their best expecially Bobbi and Collen, they are classy ladies and give great info and suggestions on the products.
One thing, make sure to measure on camera the height of the heels for the shoe shows, it is too often forgotten by everyone. -
Please stop playing that horrible music. I’m talking about the music that is being played during the Curations Special Value presentation. It makes me feel edgy and I have to turn off the volume in order to view the item. I bet others find this music horrible also. I know everyone has different opinions but 35-50 minutes of the same music is hard for anyone to endure.

Tell Stephanie to sit down and shut up and let the show host do her job. Curations

Stop the music during the fashion segments. I can’t watch when the music is playing constantly. JMO but I doubt if I’m alone in this.

I agree with the scrapbooking cardmaking items. we have the cricut and the gypsy. You could show that maybe one every month, but the rest of the month give us brand new products. When a product has been around for at least 6 months, do not show so much.
We need brand release cricut cartridges. We need new cuttlebug folders sold separately and not with the machine. Please keep up with the market. Provocraft has released so many new products this year and hsn has very few of the newest items.
Hsn stop showing us old items. Get with Provocraft and bring us up to date new releases on all their products.
Give us more Sizzix’s, cricut, cuttlebug, etc…NEW NOT OLD ITEMS. PROVOCRAFT IS RELEASING OVER 100 NEW CARTRIDGES. HSN GET WITH THE PROGRAM. YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE US TO OTHER ONLINE SHOPPING IF YOU DO NOT. THE REASON WE BUY FROM YOU IS BECAUSE WE WANT TO SEE THE ITEM ON TV AND WHAT WE CAN DO IT AND WHAT THE PROJECT LOOKS LIKE WHEN MADE WITH THE CRAFT ITEMS YOU SALE…BUT YOU SHOW US ITEMS THAT ARE OLD.
NEW PRODUCTS FROM PROVOCRAFT PLEASE…KEEP UP

Less time on the TSV. These are shown for a long time at the top of every show. Gets annoying.
Sometimes shipping charges are too high. the PO has boxes that start at $4.95 for whatever can fit but HSN shipping charges are too high. Also, I get small items that are shipped in giant boxes or bags. Why not put small items in smaller boxes or bags? A lot of wasted paper products going on.
Show hosts need to stop telling us about their personal life. Sorry but I don’t give a hoot about their kids or what they own, etc. And PLEASE don’t tell us to “buy more than one” or “buy one in every color”. We know what we want, thank you.
I agree about Joy M. Her voice and mannerisms are a little over the top. Her hangers aren’t that great anyway. A huge store has similar hangers that are IMO better.
Show clothes on the models not the hosts. It is annoying when a host constantly tries on everything presented and then primps in the monitor. Isn’t that what the models are for? Rings, yes, but clothes and makeup – no.
Offer samples of fragrance. I’d pay .50 if I was interested in knowing what a seemingly popular fragrance was like.
Lastly it would be nice to give “perks” for frequent shoppers and those who don’t have HSN cards. Some people don’t want credit cards but shouldn’t be left out of deals because we choose not to own them.

Please tell Diane Perkovic to stop eating during shows. I’m not talking about cooking segments. She’s on for Serious Skin Care right now and she’s always chewing on something. It’s very distracting. [-x
If it’s a medical issue, I apologize. -
show how to assemble products that need assembling, it will give us an idea of what”s involved.not every body has someone to help assemble a product. if it’s easy show us. the hosts do a lot of talking about nothing thank you

NOTHING is more IRRITATING to me than the hosts rattling on like they are on speed!
And those that talk over the guest and interrupt them when they are demonstrating to “update” us on how we have to hurry and buy the item. Just calm down, and tell us how much of an item you didn’t stock enough of, and calmly describe or let the guest do it. And don’t OVERSELL!! I run from pushy salespeople, and having them pushy on tv is no different. Also I agree that 10-15 mins is enough time to talk about a product. Electronics and more complicated items maybe the exception.
Also having models that represent real people of all ages, and sizes, is appropriate to sell most clothing. Specialty lines maybe not, but older women in good shape HAVE NOT DISAPPEARED FROM THE STREETS! Surely you can find a couple of nice looking models of certain ages? Even “Samantha” from SATC is 50!!!!
Please try to get some high class clothing vendors to markeet on HSN… -
Please HSN use older models when presenting Make-up, just as Adrienne does. Tired of seing these “younger than springtime “Models, better yet use both ages.
When showing jewelry, please use the ruler again and show the back of earings, so that we know where the post is located, thus being able to visualize how the earring would sit on the earlobe.
When showing before and after photos (skincare) please do not allow the vendors to use trick photography., done very effectively with lighting hitting the face from the side.
the “after” picture has frontal lighting. (Dermawand)Total fraud in my opinion.
The same deceptive measures are taking when selling eye-cream. The whole face is not shown, hiding the fact that the model is smiling in the “before” picture , that is not the case in the “after ” photo., thus no wrinkles.M.Asam has the model smiling, as “perfect teint” is being applied she relaxes the face, no more smile and no more wrinkles!!!!!Wow!
Please have all the ingredients in skincare and make up posted on the webpage. As an informed and educated consumer, I need to know what I put on my face.Serious skincare uses a lot of bad preservatives. In the last beauty book was a product called “skin beauty cocktail “, which should have been called “Preservative cocktail”. It had no less than 5 Paraben in it plus Phenoxyethanol, the latter one being the superiour and newest preservative .Companies that do what is right only use Phenoxyethanol now. I hope somebody from HSN will read all this and make some changes.
I want to thank Hsn for the generous flex-pays and equally generous return policies. Customer service has been very good!

When a male host is doing jewelry shows please spend more time on the model. I would rather see a ring on a real live hand than on a sizer stick. I can’t stand to watch jewelry presentations with Bill Green. Even when they cut to the model, he walks in front of her with a ring on a stick. He needs to get over himself and realize we watch for the jewelry not for him!

Thank you for adding this category. I think it speaks well of HSN wanting to please its customers.
As you have seen on many previous post we would like to see less of Joy. She is very annoying and turns many people off. I find when she is on I will not view the program regardless of what she is presenting.[/quote
Totally Agree. She is on the air way too much!!!!!!
