When a new item is being presented, please stay on that item so that the video covers that item completely. Tonight, a $300 bracelet was being presented, but the host went back to discussing a $29 ring during the video filming for the $300 item. The customer misses out on hearing all of the details of the more expensive item when they have to rely on the video in order to determine whether or not to purchase an item. Thanks

Please no more Joy, Stephanie & or celebrity “designers” selling overpriced junk. If you can’t make them go away at least give us a rest by not having them on so often. They are annoying and boring. I also would not miss the 30 minute TSVs & being reminded every 5 minutes about your high-interest credit card. It would also be nice if the show hosts did not shout at the top of their lungs, talk a mile a minute and interrupt vendors to “update” us. I also do not want to hear about their personal life or how they personally own every single thing they are selling. (Unless they have incredibly bad taste/judgement, live in a warehouse or are hoarders I just don’t believe it.) Also it is just not believable to apply the same level of over-the-top enthusiasm to an obviously beauiful piece of jewelry and a vacuum cleaner. The gushing caller-inners could also go. They are not adding anything but a big push to the vendor or host’s egos. The time could better be spent imparting more factual & honest information.
Also, shipping & handling should not be a profit center. A ring that weighs less than 2oz, does not cost $6-8 to ship. (Especially when it is poorly package and shoved in standard mail.) I had a huge mattress shiped from Overstock for $2! If you want to do something for your customers give us reasonable shipping, better quality control so we don’t receive items obviously broken/used BEFORE they ship. We don’t need bogus games no one wins, or coupons no one can use if they don’t have your high interest credit card. I am sure the show hosts would also appreciate not having to hard-sell every item, deceptiveness by omission and having the producer remind them in their earpiece to plug the HSN card every 5 minutes. As it is they are losing credability, do not come off as professional & increasingly sound like used car salesmen.

Allow vendor to talk, allow vendor to show us how item is used. Shannon does not allow this, to much time is spent on blah blah, hard sell isnt good. Keep Camera Shots where they need to be, such as,. Makeup, I want to see how to use it and how each shade of color looks. Most the time they will apply it and i Cant see it. Because the camera swings over to the show host as they are talkiing, I know what the show host looks like and they can talk while I am watching how the product is used or applied.Your Producers are the WORST. Why cant it be like QVC, I am able to view great shots of the item. They know how to do close ups well over on the Q.I get so mad when I am watching HSN , wanting to see something up close, the camera goes there then Shannon starts talking and bam, back over to her face. Come on you can do better.

I have submitted this request more than once over the past couple of years. I get the feeling that the hosts do not read these suggestions and that management, if reading, does not communicate these suggestions to the hosts. Others continually submit the same suggestion.
Here it is again: Please let us know during the presentations if an item runs large, small, or true to size. Please let us know if the Garment Measurements chart is accurate for that item. (I find the general HSN size chart to be a waste of time and space because it is not specific to that item.)
You are winning the battle but losing the war if you mislead us by not letting us know about the fit; if we buy something hoping that the sizing is accurate and we have to return it because of poor fit, trying on and buying in a brick and mortar store becomes much more attractive, even at a higher item price.
If this makes sense to you — it sure does to me — how about telling the hosts to give us the 411 on fit, effective immediately? Hosts, please ask the models on air what size they usually wear and what size they’re wearing (and make sure the models know what size they are in). Please do this for every piece of fashion, including shoes.

I also agree with all of you. HSN should bring more middle aged and plus size models.
Please let the host say the size each model is wearing. Thank you -
Home Shopping Service aren’t Infocommercials.
I was so disquested with Presentator,
Melissa Andrews on Electronic Gift Connection last night.
She presented her sales pitches to fast and slick that
I could understand what Melissa was presenting.I think Melissa Andrews and other fast pitch Presentators
should take a book from John Eastman, Bill Green, Colleen
Lopes, Amy Morrison, Robin Wall and Marlo Smith.Jane OConnor

It would help if the show hosts could explain the specs on electronic items or allow the vendor to explain them especially if it is the first presentation. Some hosts seem to get so excited about an item that they don’t really give any specifics.

Ask Shannon to let the vendor present his product instead of her oh so fake concern that the item will sell out. I ALMOST bought the Gateway TS last night, but she wouldn’t shut up long enough for the vendor to provide demonstrations and specs.

make sure viewers know that Mango Sonic Jewelry DOES NOT come with cleaning solution. That is another purchase!!! Mine came in mail but I can’t use it…no cleaning solution. Wish I would have known that. I read another persons reveiw after getting mine and she said the same thing. Come on not even a sample!?

Measurments and weight for handbags. Garment measurments.also, Taking too long on TS. Shorten the time so we may see other items from the designer.Suggest TS be no more than 10 minutes

When showing footwear, please show the available sizes in the box on the left hand side of the screen. If we’re lucky, the host will mention the sizes, but sometimes that can take 10 or more minutes. I’m a size 4-41/2 but some size 5s can fit with insoles. I have often called just to find out if a specific footwear is available in size 5 because I can’t find out just by watching the presentation on air.

Have a place online that describes the outfits and jewelry of each hostess.

I have a question. I noticed that Diane appeared to avoid a lot of discussion about the purple jeans today. Why is that? I would like to purchase a pair but something was a bit strange in the presentation today surrounding that color.

Please tell the young presenter (most recently selling DG2 products during the 5am EST block Sat. 9/25) to look up the definition of the word “infamy.” She used it as an adjective – as in “Diane Gilman’s INFAMOUS boot cut jeans” 3 times, no doubt believing it was high praise. Lucky for her it happened during the dead of night, when hopefully Diane was not awake to notice.

Please let the hosts “hold back” while the guest is speaking. Many times the venders will describe their merchandise only to be “cut off” by some of the hosts. The constant talking and talking about the same POINT…actually gets on my nerves and I usually turn the channel. I do enjoy many of the Venders and love it when they are allowed to speak witout the producer blurting out orders into the ears of the hosts. It’s really annoying. I don’t have to have merchandise pushed at me to buy it.
