It would be nice if the hosts would do a structured product summary at least three times during a presentation. The product summary should always give information about:
1) Sizing – most importantly fit, how does the item fit. Ex: since this bracelet is wider, the fit will be slightly smaller on the wrist… I have a 6″ wrist and I’m wearing the 7.5″, see the drape…etc.
2) Show all sides of the item – front, back, side, undercarriage, all angles.
3) Feel or weight or texture. Ex: this micro plush fleece is very light, feels plush, it is thinner fleece but will keep you warm even in lower temperatures… etc.
4) Any extra features
While it’s nice that the hosts will give anecdotes and tell stories and such, sometimes they will do so through the whole presentation and all we end up seeing is the front of the item that they’re holding. I’ve often watched the video on an item only to be disappointed that I couldn’t even get a good look at the item as the host just sat there talking but never showing the item from different angles. And worse yet, the host wasn’t even talking about the item and was instead telling a story about something else.
Please give us more product information and less talk show during presentations.
Thank you.

The hosts should use inclusive language. Isn’t it just so offensive that pets are not included in the dialogue?! Pets are a significant part of peoples’ lives and families. People spend hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars on their pets. Why people buy things for their beloved animals from this very network! I think the hosts should adopt and use the word ‘petples’ in the vernacular. Then we’ll be sure to know pets and people have equal significance! :catlol:

Does anyone know Wolfgang Puck recipe for brioche bread in his bread maker?

I feel sorry for Wolf and his son. That big mouth woman is totally jealous criticizing Oliver for taking over her job. They have the biggest mouths and are totally ignorant and rude. Why doesn’t HSN hire professionals/?? Low wages probably! She has a mouth the size of an elephant. Shut her down!

I think Bobbi needs medical attention. She is scary skinny. Her bony knees poke out, and her face looks so drawn and gaunt.
I don’t watch the show that frequently anymore, so I haven’t seen her in a while. The last time I saw her I thought she looked pretty good. Now she looks terribly spindly.
I think it would be a good idea for Bobbi to eat.

I would just like honest presentations.
If ‘disclosure’ means anything to management, it would help if your hosts told us ‘don’t use this near your eyes’ or ‘if you have had cancer or have heart related issues, this item is not for you’.
Yes, recently experienced both of these and had to return. While it is nice that I can return, I would rather spend my time elsewhere.
Slow down he speech cadence, stop ‘hawking’ things at us. Intelligent information that we can use – not entertaining us and convincing us to make that call or order that item that is not what you are telling us is truly beneath a large name like HSN.
Your credibility is important and you are losing it by not being honest with us. I don’t watch any more as I just am insulted by what you consider is my level of intelligence. I would rather go online and find specifics on an item and even then important info is missing.
I like many of your items if the price is right and if it will work for me — and that is what your job is really. I just had to learn how to better use HSN.

Please HSN remind your hosts/hostesses not to be gender specific. I am watching Craft Day and the male host (Brett?) kept referring only to your daughter or granddaughter working with the sewing machine or craft products. I know a lot of boys that sew and do papercrafting. When my grandson hears these products referred to as "girl" products it is offensive to him. I have spent many hours teaching my sons and grandson basic life skills…sewing, cooking, etc and it has served them well. Please don’t discourage my grandson from doing cardmaking with me 🙁

I see this is an old thread that was reopened which I am happy about. Just started shopping here early last year. (Only shopped brick & mortar before). Would like to see more mens apparel not just sports apparel. Reasonably priced shoes and clothes. Would like to shop for husband.
Don’t know if you used to carry mens fashions then dropped? And don’t want to shop other channels. Till then guess I will continue to buy his clothes, shoes, slippers, etc locally.

I have a very small dog that I love to take with me on errands.
Joy, you need to design a dog carrier that also has wonderful storage
so that I do not need a handbag too.
I have many ideas and points to share, please reach out to me.
I’ve spent a fortune on carriers that were poorly thought out, and I think you could do it right.. -
Please HSN…discontinue the practice of hosts having to interrupt their presentations to talk of
upcoming programs. The increase of on the air advertising is becoming annoying. I also noticed that the guests appear to be equally annoyed as they are interrupted and rushed, at times. Thanks so much… -

I would like to see an air purifier product be offered that not only purifies the air using UV lights but also adds the negative ions back into the air and ozone technology…..in a powerful way. Currently, I am only seeing purification units being offered on HSN not ones that also offer ozone technology.
Currently, I have a Fresh Air purifier from Ecoquest which does this but its around $650. I have not been able to find another product like Fresh Air that is a non MLM company, which increases the cost to consumers. It would be great to offer a product that offers this type of purification at a cost that is much more reasonable to consumers. My Fresh Air unit covers up to 3500 sf which increases the cost of their unit. How about a unit that purifies a standard size living area and offer it for less than $100? And please have it be heavy duty and powerful. While I love what my FreshAir unit does to my breathing/living space I have had to send it in at least 4 times for repairs. Can someone please offer a unit such as this with great quality and reasonable pricing?

I think it would be better if the threads defaulted to viewing the most recent comments first instead of having to scroll to the bottom of the page or going to the last page to read the newest posts.

HSN: Please tell the hosts and vendors to stop referring to women as "guys", especially when selling makeup. The word "guys" was never meant to be used as a catch-all phrase. Saying "guys" is tantamount to saying "men." The correct phrases are: ladies and gentlemen, women and men, or guys and gals. It’s offensive to refer to a group of women as men.
And, please educate the hosts and vendors with regard to selling products in the 21st century. The over-se x u al ization of females has gotten out of control. I’m sick and tired of hearing all of the hosts and vendors say things like, "sexpot", " "Guys", this will really make you look sexy," "Men appreciate it when women look sexy," etc. I haven’t heard that kind of speak since the 70’s. Do you realize the kinds of ideas you’re propagating when you tell women they should look sexy to appease men? It’s as if you are broadcasting to women they exist exclusively for the s e x ual entertainment of men. It’s a sickening notion in the 21st century. You must have a more contemporary approach to sell your products.
