If you sailed the ocean blue, what would be your ship’s name?

IF IT’S ANYTHING LIKE MY FIRST (AND LAST!) CRUISE, I’D CALL IT “THE VOMIT COMET”!  (SURPRISINGLY, AS MY FATHER AND BROTHER AND DAD’S COUSIN WERE ALL SAILORS!  SURE DIDN’T RUN IN THE FAMILY!)

Why ?  –  Because I’m sailing the Ocean Blue!!

I’d let the wind take me where it will and enjoy it all.  In reality I’d have the auto pilot on helping the wind out a bit so that I don’t end up on a deserted island.  But then again, that would depend on who my fantasy shipmate is, a deserted island might not be too bad after all.  

The name of my ship would be: “WHAT’S YOUR FUNCTION?”

The reason for this is when my 3 boys were growing up and they did step out of line in action(s), in character, or just dumb decisions, I would always say to them, “WHAT’S YOUR FUNCTION?” And immediately they knew they had to explain their actions to me.  One year they had a t-shirt made for me that read big bold… “WHAT’S YOUR FUNCTION?”   I loved it and laughed till I cried.  Now my oldest has two son’s and I hear him say to them when they do dumb/crazy things, “WHAT’S YOUR FUNCTION?”   How funny is that!  Anyone want to go boating??????…………lol………….:womanlol:

I am a huge ‘Bogie’ (Humphrey Bogart) fan so I would call it the Santana after his yacht.  I think Bogie bought the boat from actor D!ck Powell, since his yacht had the same name.

With all the turmoil going on in the world today my ship’s name would be called “HOPE”.

I am a collector so at first I thought about The Sailing Treasure. I also like clothing and jewelry so it would be quite easy to fill a ship up with lots of clothes and came up with The Closet Cruiser. Of course one can’t do with only collectibles, clothing and accessories. I must first and foremost have my family and furry kids set sail with me so perhaps I could call it Star’s Galaxy Ship. Then came the thought of food and decided I needed everything including The Kitchen Sink. But no one, and I mean NO ONE wants a ship with the word SINK in its name! So I gave up and found a ship name generator and got ten names:

Clinker? That does not sound like a very good name for a ship! So I decided to take sail and visit the arcade. There it hit me: Today’s Special! Great name for my ship because Today Is Special!!!

My Ship’s name would be Barf.  I suffer from seasickness.  No Ocean Blue for me.:smileyhappy:
