HSN Birthday Month – is it the worst ever?
I’m sorry – maybe it’s just me…but this is the most boring, uninspired Birthday celebration that HSN has had in years. Very few new vendors/products, no coupons for EVERYONE to use, no special things going on each and every day…it’s just boring. Customer appreciation month was better, in my opinion – and even that was pretty flat.
Yes, they have the gifts to the “special callers”, the $100 GC to the beach ball pictures, but that’s pretty much it. Oh, and the $25 GC balloons (which I STILL haven’t seen on my screen) in the Spin to Win.
I’m really disappointed. I honestly hope that Mindy and the other PTB have BIG plans for next year. Because they have lowered the bar to be able to make #40 way better.

Hi Sharon818 – remember a couple of years ago for birthday month? They had so much more!! A lot of Free Shipping on S2W and coupons galore! It was better then – so many specials, etc. It was really fun!! I miss those days!

I am a little underwhelmed, too. July is usually one of the months I buy more, but not so this year.

I’m pretty uninspired as well. Not exactly sure why-The energy isn’t coming off of the screen like it has in years past.

I am kinda thinking that HSN needs a complete re-do!!! I know thats not feasable, but it was just a thought and observation, being I have been with them for over 25 years!!! The good hosts seem to be leaving, some already gone and the remainder, well, need I say more!!! JMO. And I am not saying ALL of the remainder, but there are a few!!! P lease, I do not need any bashing because of my post, because, as I said, it is my opinion. Have a sunny day!!

I can remember a couple years ago on the spin to win I was getting % off coupons & free ship almost every day & I shopped like crazy! I had so much overstock in my closet of Perlier I was really gifting people. This year I am very unimpressed as well. I do not do FB which is my personal option so I don’t know what this beach ball stuff is about. I haven’t seen any of these $25 GC balloons either that ? mentioned. I am not impressed at all however that is my opinion as well & I was surprised not to be wowed at Heidi’s TSV as I am usually over the moon with her jewelry- love Heidi :), I also don’t see what the big deal is about people wanting to share the coupons with others as it is generating more business the way I look at it. I don’t feel we should have to search around for coupons, I am way too old for “Easter egg hunts” for coupons. However, this makes me really re think my shopping habits. Amazon “Prime” yesterday was awesome & I pay no shipping. Even the Q has nice shipping prices. I feel $5.95 & $6.95 is ridiculous to pay for 1 pair of earrings that they sometimes ship in a box that would hold about 50 pairs of earrings. I realize & respect HSN is in business to make money & for profit so if that is how they want to continue having FUN then so be it & my credit card will cool off majorly & I won’t buy things I really don’t need. WIN WIN for all around 🙂

I agree. The only thing I’m getting is any Beauty on sale or clearance I need this month that usually doen’t have free shipping. I got some Perlier (they have new items on sale!) and I’m hoping to get some Korres during their visit this Tuesday the 19th.

I don’t know….. the way I see it is HSN does not have to do anything for us.
It’s their birthday, not ours. They owe us nothing.
I got a 20% off coupon, bought something I planned to get anyway & got it with free shipping. BAM !! Thank you & Happy Birthday HSN !
When was the last time you got a coupon from QVC….
