How do you cozy up for the holidays?

Since shopping and gift wrapping are over with for now, take the laptop into the den to search HSN and other web sites for sale items to use for next year. Then, with a good book, relax in the den and watch the birds flock to the lake or to the rear door where they will stand. like statues, waiting for a morsel of food. Then in the evening watch the fireworks light up the sky. 

I love to have the lights off and have all the lit decorations on and the tree lit – I’m a sucker for decorations that light.  I have the fire going in the fireplace and the Christmas music station playing on the radio. I browse HSN on my tablet while sipping hot chocolate with tons of whipped cream.  If there’s a Christmas show on tv, I’ll put that on.  Then my husband comes home, shuts the radio off, turns off some of the twinkling decorations, and puts a homicide cop show on tv – ugh.  I guess that’s why they say opposites attract.  

I stay warm & toasty in my plush Adrienne Landau robe and my bunny slippers with my hubby and little dog sharing the sofa as we watch “It’s A Wonderful Life” for the hundredth time while eating freshly popped popcorn.:heart:

My favorite chair, my favorite cat, my favorite comfy clothes, a glass of wine, and a lovely old movie.:heart:

I love to have our heater on that has flames like a fireplace.  I like my soft, cuddly pajamas and something delicious to eat and drink, while I relax and watch TV (preferrably something funny or a romantic comedy).
