Holiday Programming – REALLY?!?!?!
I don’t mean to sound “Scrooge-ish” but 3-4 hour blocks of Suze Orman with an hour of Electronic Connection in between? REALLY?
The best holiday programming they’ve had in recent years was the prerecorded shows with Callie a few years ago (my opinion). The very BEST was years ago (before Mindy) when the hosts would have their families join them and the hosts would talk about their lives and their holidays – we got to see a lot of the people behind the hosts…and the crews as well.
All that said, Happy Holidays everyone (I say that because tonight is the first night of Hannukah, as well as Christmas Eve)!!

Sharon, I totally agree with you. I used to enjoy the programming when the hosts all got together and introduced us to their family members (even birds, dogs, cats, etc..). I used to look forward to the six hours or more of their program without one thing to sell. It was so heartwarming. I also remember when the hosts got together and made a holiday CD. Now it’s all about the $$$. Thank you for the few minutes of nostalgia.

Hmmm…I’ve yet to see Suze Orman. It’s been pre-recorded selling…some things have been less expensive than when I got them as they’ve gone to clearance pricing. I can take or leave the selling or other assorted programming…it’s a good time to just do other stuff.

I too am shocked at the Holiday programming/marketing but not surprised. This is the last Holiday that should be left sacred.

QVC does it best.
