Congratulations, Bill Green! We Love You!!!

i can’t believe that the day for hsn show host bill green to pass the hsn “on-air” show host baton has come. forgive me, but  i really do hope that this turns into a “jane treacy” situation. back in the day, when i was watching qvc, lifetime and core qvc show host jane treacy announced one day that she was leaving the q in order to spend more time with her family. well, she was asked to come back one year later. :smileyhappy::heart: even though i believe whole-heartedly that bill is going to do an awesome job and perhaps even relax a bit in his new hands-on position training other hosts and guests off-air, my heart is still broken (to say the least) at the news that he won’t be regularly scheduled for on-air shows anymore. bill is one of my all-time favorites- just “good people” who can put a smile on your face in an instant and turn a bad day into a good one. like many hsn viewers, it’s going to be very hard missing bill’s beautiful, soulful aura on-air. especially after having been used to it for so many years now. regardless, bill is and always will be a passionate, kind, mature, well-spoken, smart, knowledgeable, professional, reasonable, classy and dapper man. nothing will ever change that. nevertheless, WE LOVE YOU BILL!!! PLEASE COME BACK ON-AIR!!! it will never be the same without you. stay blessed, my friend and definitely don’t be a stranger. continue to shower us with updates. :heart: love it. xoxo 

Whaaaat? I missed this whole thing! What exactly is he going to do? He is one of my absolute favorites but hadn’t seen him in a while. It just cracked me up when he and a presenter would get into a giggle fit.

So nice to hear such wonderful news.  I am so happy to hear about your promotion Bill.  I have been watching Bill since he arrived at HSN.    Wish you the best Bill Green.

Congratulations Bill Green on your new promotion!   I am sad we will not be able to watch you on air any more, but I am so very  happy for you.   The new hosts will greatly benefit from all of your vast knowledge and experience.    I always enjoyed watching  your shows.   Good luck!

?, thank you for letting us know what the big announcement was that Bill made.  I missed his announcement.   I suspected, however, that it would be about him leaving his host position.  Here’s to bigger and better things for Bill Green.  He will be mised by me.  I find him to be one of the most charming and down to earth hosts HSN has ever had.

  I was so excited the news was great.

I posted the minute he made the announcement  … down in talk among yourselves. 

 I  was thrilled to hear the announcement. In my opinion HSN would not be the same with Bill Green . Of course  someday  he probably will want to retire but NOT NOW!    

 I am so happy for Bill .  He deserves the promotion . I have said in the past  Bill sets the model and standard  as how and what  host should bring to the the table . I have even said he should train others .

He really is the BEST!  He explains sizes , colors , flexplay and  gives  the viewers  tid-bits they want and really need  to know, and  make the correct choices as far as sizing , colors , and such . 

Bill is the best  in the business.

Bill, I knew it was going to be a goodbye. I’m just so happy for you – a promotion when there’s really nowhere to go is amazing and so well-deserved! If anyone can whip that on-air talent into shape, it is you. Please teach them not to overuse “Literally”, “you guys”, “take a listen” or use any of the phrases Shannon Smith uses to sell product (“like I do”, “not limiting quantities” etc – that list is endless).

Going to miss not knowing what you were going to say when you were in a “mood” (LOVED those moods!), and just your class and sincerity when dealing with guests and viewers/callers.
